I've learned that within the circles of Mormons there are instituted; priesthood of Aaron and priesthood of Melchizedek

a) Why are these names chosen for these "priesthoods"

b) What are the criteria’s for being elected or appointed to priesthood of Aaron?

c) Are members of priesthood of Aaron actual descendants of the tribe of Levi (Num 3:9-10)

d) On what Scriptural basis are people elected or appointed to priesthood of Melchizedek

At first it could seem like exercise in blasphemy or ignorance on LDS’s side. That’s why I am asking.

Please no jokes or ignorant answers, but instead back it up with passages from our holy Scripture.

Thank you in advance and God Bless

God creates hell, then threatens us with it if we don't believe. Sounds like the Mafia to me. Is there some theological point I'm missing?

What is the thinking behind our line forming? It all depends on the customers and which way they are trying to get ahead of the next guy. What ever happened to one line per thing or cashier? This seems the most logical and fair.

Yesterday I was at the movie theater, in line for consessions. There were 2 cashiers, but it was hard to tell if there were 2 lines, because people were grouped in clusters. (you never know which it is as it changes daily, or even by the minute)

Well, the line moved up some, and it appeared that there were 2 lines, so I got into a line behind this woman. Then a woman next to me yelled at me saying that there was one line and they were alternating between cashiers.

Why has standing in line become so complicated? I want to go back to simple line formations! What do you all think of this?

See any striking similarities between the book and our country today?
One person compared the Two Minutes Hate to the Pledge of Allegiance. Another compared Emmanuel Goldstein to Osama Bin Laden. The constant riots, pointless wars also remind me of today.
Any other - more subtle - things you noticed while reading that you could share?

Do you think feelings of intense romantic love are necessary to have sexual intercourse with another person? Many people want to "get their first time over with," and be 'in love' with that person, and then it doesn't matter who they have sex with. What are your personal guidelines reguarding sex?

this isnt a question. but rather a guide for fish for people to genreally steer clear of. just thought that the lives of hundreds of fish were worth 5 points

"sucker fish" aka plecos (uless you have a 50g tank)

oscars (ok if you have a 55 gallon tank)

pacu (dont even bother unless you have about 500 gallons)

red tailed catfish (1500 gallons minimum)

arowana: omg, i love this fish. i have one. but unless you have a tank that is 200 gallons, please dont buy one

dragon gobies (brackish)

any species of puffer really isnt a begginner fish

ANY SALTWTER (lose the nemo, saltwater is hard work)

no bowls for fish

goldfish

any fish is a no-no if you havent cycled your tank!

jaguar cichlids (150 gallon tank)

dyed fish

piranhas (they are catualy not that exciting anyway)

stingrays

generally any brackish water fish

discus

if you do want to keep any of the monsters listed above, contact FishRfine on monsterfishkeepers.com (thats me) id be glad t

After studying myself for long I knew there was something wrong with my attention with the kind of mistakes I make.
Walking to the wrong side of the escalator (the one coming down when I'm down), walking to the ladies toilet in a pub (this happened twice), and forgetting things too frequently. These are just a few. I decided to do online tests to have an idea whether I had ADD.
Well, all the tests show (to a high probability) that I have it. I took 5 tests in total and they were all high. I know I'm not supposed to use these online tests to conclude but it's sort of a guide.
I live in London and I don't know who to talk to about it. I don't know if it's the kind of thing I can talk to my gp about.
