After studying myself for long I knew there was something wrong with my attention with the kind of mistakes I make.
Walking to the wrong side of the escalator (the one coming down when I'm down), walking to the ladies toilet in a pub (this happened twice), and forgetting things too frequently. These are just a few. I decided to do online tests to have an idea whether I had ADD.
Well, all the tests show (to a high probability) that I have it. I took 5 tests in total and they were all high. I know I'm not supposed to use these online tests to conclude but it's sort of a guide.
I live in London and I don't know who to talk to about it. I don't know if it's the kind of thing I can talk to my gp about.

Over here (USA) we have clinics that specialize in ADD and ADHD. I'm not familiar with the universal care system you guys employ over there but hopefully there's something similar.

If not, research the treatments for adults. If you could get your hands on some adult ADD medication, you could try it and see.

As a last resort, fly on over here for a visit and stop by a clinic while you're here. Don't forget to bring your check book. :)

Well ADD is mainly something treated with medication. Its up to you whether or not you think its bad enough to want to be medicated. You can contact psychiatrists or talk to your doctor about it.
There are also support groups in London for it if you are looking for people to talk to or would rather go this route:

Here is the national website for the UK for ADD: www.aadd.org.uk. This has support groups and information.
If your looking for an online support group try myspace or look it up in a search engine.
It's really nothing to be ashamed of either to talk about with other people. It's a genetic disorder. I have an anxiety disorder and have found that people are very supportive when I share about it.
Good luck!!
