If you're talking product, use Bumble &Bumble's volumizer...nothing I've tried has ever given me volume like that product. Or, you could get some very light layering on the crown and around your face which will give you lift on top but allow you to keep the length.

well you could go for layers or make it choppy.. those are really common.. but if u wanna go alittle unigue sometimes the salon has hairstyle pics or magazines that you can get some ideas from.. or u cuz search the next for a style that you really like, but the best thing that i would do is just ask your stylist... they will give you advice and they will see what will suite you.

for adding volume on top.. theres a few things i can suggest...
1) use sprays.. like the ''big sexy hair'' one, it gives you volume too

2) tease your hair at the crown (top part of your head), if u dont knwo what teasing means its when u take a section of ur hair and take ur comb and comb opposite messing your hair up a bit at the roots.. and then u take some more hair and you cover it so u cant see it but it look sliek your have alot of volume

3) some people do a puff at the top of their hair and bobby pin it... then spray it and sleep liek that over night and in the morning .. TA DA!!

hope i helped ;)

There's a product by Matrixx or maybe Redken called amplify. I like it a lot. Obviously heavy long hair is not going to poof on top because it's just too heavy. If you want height, volume, you've got to get the right cut and use the right products.

well i use this volumizing spray and it helps it is from conair.
but sometimes it isn't enough.
so i sleep with my hair part on the other side
then when i wake up i put it on the side it is usually on and
spray the roots
style my hair
and then take a small comb like what guys use
and pull up my hair where my part is and
hold it with one hand and
then i tease it to give it more volume
usually it works.
glad to help
