Hi guys, but what does the New World in the New world Translation stand for?

As it was written in the 1950's, the idea of settling and colonising America as the new free world must have been a little bit out of date.

However, the new world order, the plan for one reliogeon, one economy, one spiritual leader, and one world president was well under way

with establishements such as the council of foreign relations, the tri lateral commsion

and many pugnacious intellectual heavyweights such as ALlbert Einstein saying the future of mankind lies in World Government.

This is of course a contradiction to the prophecies written in the book of revelations which says that the furture will be a time of great turmoil and tribulation caused by the leaders of this one world government

anyway, in case none of this applies I just want to know What JW's make of the phrase New world trnaslation, and what is the New world the translators were reffering to, if it's not about the New World order?

Ok my mom and my cousin mom was recentley in a fight my cousin jordan is kinda weired and VERY popular like everyone wants to be related to him and lucky me (not) I get him. But any ways we were talking about him not in a bad way and I said o ya he is my cousin. No one belived me so they asked him guess what my cousin said!!! Boyfriend's past?
I am 14, and my bf is 15. I know we're young but I trust him with all my heart. I love him, he loves me. We're so close I can tell him EVERYTHING (including my past sexual abuse). I thought we were really close and really good together considering how young we both are. Today he told me something about his past (I thought he was perfect).

I have been his really good friend since we were twelve and then he asked me to be his gf (kinda cute :D) when we were 13. 1 1/2 years is pretty long to be together (considering age) and like another year of friendship!!! Today he told me that from when he was 12 through 13 he had internet relationships with 15 girls!!! Not only a relationship, he doubled timed them, and had Internet/ Instant Message SEX with them like 4 TIMES A WEEK! Remember we were really good friends at the time and I thought he was perfect and now we're bf/gf. IT WAS GRAPHIC AND HAPPENED AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE. Is it reasonable for me to be upset?

I have a business that has limited parking that I pay rent and upkeep on. When I get in in the morning I see that several cars are already in the lot. They are there all day and are gone by the time I leave and back the next day. I assume that the cars belong to employees of surrounding businesses. I frequently see cars leave because of no place to park. I have the legal right to tow but I want to give notice first. I would like to send a letter to the businesses or put notes on the cars to give notice but I would like to word the letter in a way that does not create ill will. I am not angry I just want my customers to have a place to park.

Okay so I have a dog that does not have fleas, I've checked, checked and double checked. Here's the catch, I just moved to a new apartment but I still have another week paid up on the old one. I went into the old one this morning to grab a few more things and I realized the place is infested with fleas! They must have come from outside while we were moving or from a neighbors apartment. I haven't seen a single flea in the new place so the infestation must have taken root after we'd moved most of everything. I still have things to move into the new place, clothes, blankets, paperwork, a chair. How do I keep these nasty fleas from infesting my new place as well and how do I kill them before my lease is up?

I crushed on this guy before, but I'm not sure if I like him anymore. I see him in the halls and I try to avoid him. I don't duck, but I just weave my way to be unseen and just walk away. Yet, I do want him to notice me sometimes. But on the other hand, every time I see him, it makes me sad. Because he's avoiding me, too. We're both avoiding each other, it seems. (No, I don't think it's fun, either.) I'm not sad because we couldn't be together, but I'm sad because we couldn't be friends. But I guess that I should have seen from the beginning that we couldn't come together; we were too different. (They say opposites attract. I don't think we're opposites, but we are different.) Maybe it's my fault. I just don't have enough courage to go up to him and say hi. I guess I keep thinking of the embarrassment afterwards. (He's always with his friends.) I probably am pathetic. =D
