What love means to us is how we define love, and how the ones we love define love. "True love" is a state of mind, which comes and goes in people. The concept of "true love" is a shelter for those people who believe that without love, there would be no point to life, no hope, no God, no anything. That life could just exist, going forward contrary to these principals. It is obvious that love means many different things to different people and that to each it holds a different value

Very well said. I couldn't agree more, actually!

You say "true love" "comes and goes in people";

Examples?
And why do you not believe the truth that can show that "love stays in people"(ie the
opposite to what you write).
The best example i can give is that of the
chinese,that is those who do not believe in
romantic love.
Who is to say they are wrong?
And if they are right then the "staple" concept-of-love of the western world seems
to me mistaken.
Perhaps it is, but this has no real and lasting consequence(!)
But i admit that what you have to say further,about love,has some value and worth.
