I mean we pay into Social Security expecting when we get old enough we can relax and not have to work. But now its not going to be there so why do we have to pay for something we wont get.

I am a corrections officer and was just looking to see if there are any other COs, past or present on here who can tell me little things they always did to keep the inmates on their toes.

The jail I work in is direct supervision, so I am dealing with the inmates face to face on a regular basis.

So, if you have any stories, advice on how you did things, or even suggestions please do tell.

three explorers an Englishman, an Irishman & a Scotsman were captured in the jungle by natives & taken to the village ,there thy are tied to stakes ! the Chief comes out of his hut with all the rest of the elders ,they go up to the captives & start feeling their faces then they shout out an order & some of the natives come forward & strip the captives ,the Chief & the rest of the elders then start feeling all over their skins & talking amongst themselves & getting really excited the captives all wonder whar they are saying ,but only the Englishman knows what they are saying ! he tells the others that they are going to kill us then skin us to make canoes out of it the Scotsman is horrified ! suddenly the Irishman gets hold of a knife & starts stabbing himself all over his body saying they.ll not be making a bloody canoe out of me

Think about it. In school we read ancient mythology, but somehow religious books are a taboo? Why? Isn't the Bible more relevant in our society than Poseidon? Teaching Greek mythology instead of the major world religions is like teaching students about the wonders of the telegraph in a digitial age.

My ipod nano, 2nd generation states that it can hold 500 songs. My ipod has 2 GB, technically 1.8 GB. I currently have 192 songs, and 1 GB left. By the time I have 384 songs my ipod's capacity will be full. I should be able to upload 226 more songs onto my ipod, after I have 384. Is this a common problem? Was I suposed to expect this? I feel like I have been ripped off.
