doesnt ure question answer itself, religion doesnt work, why cant we all worship our god without the rest of the rubbish that causes the wars and deaths.

Because it Does Not work, look around the world nothing could convince me that it works.To be truely religious you need respect for ALL life, not to mention Unconditional Love, its just a way so that the few can control the many,and a way of passing the buck, religion should be a personal thing not to be indoctrinated or forced onto others. Religion works if well understood,it is not religion's mistakes but people's
Killing each others means there are either misunderstanding of one;s own religion or others religion or both,or a third one who is happy to flame their relation or benefits on their dead bodies m,like media and it 's owners do now ,all people lived in many countries with many religions peacefully before but now look even people of same religion fight also.

Religion was created by human beings to maintain love, peace and be good in their societies. As it is run by the human beings, there will be always conflicts and fights. This is being taught by the religious leaders through their wrong teachings - the innocent believers enter into the wrong beliefs and fighting each other.

Religion is an excuse. Killing is done by humans, religious or not.
Religion is used as reason to rally others to kill. Before religions man used other reasons to kill.
Killing is about power and control over others.

It is up to every individual to listen to God in their interior. Instead there is the tendency of human beings to look to the people around them for their opinions on life. Religion points to this Reality but people often miss what is so close to them.

Because everyone beleives their religion should be the only religion. Theyre right and everyone else is wrong. Bound to start fights thinking like that.

My 'God' is the only true god and thus stronger than yours.
As kids fight with one another 'my toy is better than yours'
As children boast " My father is.... and can.. "
Thus adults fight and kill to prove that their god is 'real'
The 'irrational' thinking wins over the 'rational' mind.
Funny but I consider it as the only rational answer.
