mine is ALMOST giving up gambling. every 3-4mths. i still get the urge play the pokies/slots, it doesn't take long to remember why i gave them away.

I guess winning that great race at conception, gee there were millions of those little spermatozoa. I don't remember it but boy, it sure changed my life.

Staying alive despite the efforts of:-
Bosses who expect too much,
Drivers who should not be on the roads,
Shoppers who make you fall over when they stop suddenly in the middle of an isle,
The tax man
The government
Children who worry you senseless
Others who forget they are driving and not being passenger
and
Probably a thousand other reasons for trying to get older !

Raising three beautiful [in mind, spirit and heart] children! While doing so I guess I never thought much about the 'process' and now that I'm older and see them all grown I marvel at the feat, because I was SO young and inexperienced! They are a true blessing!

Overcoming depression- although I have smaller bouts with it here and there, it's nothing like the desolate feeling I had once upon a time. It's not something that anyone can measure but me, but trust, it's a major accomplishment.

I have done many things. But I raised two very good son's. And I have wonderful grandchildren. I have friends, I have overcome depression, I have kept a positive outlook in spite of physical limitations.

Having a small part in the decision that several young people have made to trust Jesus as Savior. Today, another one of 'my boys' told the congregation he was a Christian (age 9). The preacher called his mom up forward to stand with him, and she asked me to come up. too.
I'm not bragging, just proud of him, as I am of all 'my kids' who have made the same decision.

Considering my less-than-stellar behavior in a past lifetime, I think my greatest achievement has been to reach the advanced age I am now.

My four children, who all turned out good and have done very well for themselves. Also after 32 years, quitting smoking. there are probably others but those two stand out the most.

I gave up smoking and drinking. Almost 2 years for drinking and 12 for smoking now.

my kids, after that the fact I went back and got my college degree after I had my 3 kids and was able to make a lot more money than I was making, juggling full time school,and full time motherhood and wife was a great achievement.
