Staying alive despite the efforts of:-
Bosses who expect too much,
Drivers who should not be on the roads,
Shoppers who make you fall over when they stop suddenly in the middle of an isle,
The tax man
The government
Children who worry you senseless
Others who forget they are driving and not being passenger
and
Probably a thousand other reasons for trying to get older !

Raising three beautiful [in mind, spirit and heart] children! While doing so I guess I never thought much about the 'process' and now that I'm older and see them all grown I marvel at the feat, because I was SO young and inexperienced! They are a true blessing!

Overcoming depression- although I have smaller bouts with it here and there, it's nothing like the desolate feeling I had once upon a time. It's not something that anyone can measure but me, but trust, it's a major accomplishment.

Having a small part in the decision that several young people have made to trust Jesus as Savior. Today, another one of 'my boys' told the congregation he was a Christian (age 9). The preacher called his mom up forward to stand with him, and she asked me to come up. too.
I'm not bragging, just proud of him, as I am of all 'my kids' who have made the same decision.

Considering my less-than-stellar behavior in a past lifetime, I think my greatest achievement has been to reach the advanced age I am now.
