We read with no surprise that in a Daily Star phone poll yesterday, 86% said Kate and her husband Gerry, both 39, should be charged with child neglect.

Is it not time that there serial child neglectors were finally charged with leaving three children under 4 night after night in a foreign holiday appartment while they went out boozing the night away with their child neglecting friend ?

I just rented a dvd from blockbusters, and it wont work on my laptop. I normally play them on my laptop and they normally work. This one plays the first title then stops and wont play any further. I use InterVideo WinDvd as it was already on the laptop. Any idea's why it wont play? Because they normally do.

Any intelligent person knows that volcanoes create large amounts of CO2.
So why should we trust Co2 readings from "largest active volcano on Earth" according to:
http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/Products/SProdsRegions.html

The Alarmists seem to trust these CO2 readings and this is their primary source of CO2 data. Maybe they ARE NOT Intelligent???

I have strong mood swings with this guy. Sometimes I feel like I love him and other times I Hate him so bad, for no reason. I've been with him for a month. when I hate him, I want to hurt him and make him upset. What do I do? It's unfair to him. I don't want to talk about it with him because he'll think I'm a psycho. It was slightly before Christmas. The trip went reasonably well,
and he was ready to go back. The airport on the other end had turned
a tacky red and green, and loudspeakers blared annoying elevator
renditions of cherished Christmas carols.

Being someone who took Christmas very seriously, and being slightly
tired, he was not in a particularly good mood.

Going to check in his luggage (which, for some reason, had become one
suitcase with entirely new clothes), he saw hanging mistletoe. Not
real mistletoe, but very cheap plastic with red paint on some of the
rounder parts and green paint on some of the flatter and pointier
parts, that could be taken for mistletoe only in a very Picasso sort
of way.

With a considerable degree of irritation and nowhere else to vent it,
he said to the attendant,

"Even if I were not married, I would not want to kiss you under such a
ghastly mockery of mistletoe."

"Sir, look more closely at where the mistletoe is."

(pause)

"Ok, I see that it's above the luggage scale, which is the place you'd
have to step forward for a kiss."

"That's not why it's there."

(pause)

"Ok, I give up. Why is it there?"

"It's there so you can kiss your luggage goodbye."

This is just an announcement...I took a preg test this morning when I was getting ready for work, expecting that it would be negative and to my surprise it was positive...so I went to the store and bought 2 more tests and took those - all positive results. I told my husband and we couldn't be happier or more excited and it happened in one month of ttc. I can't believe it I thought it would take alot longer then that. Please share your recent finding out stories :-)

Wife is heavily pregnant and in hospital to give birth. An anxious husband is watching cricket whilst awaiting news from the hospital. Eventually he could not wait any longer and called the hospital to find out about his wife, but…..he accidentally dialed the cricket stadium. When the phone was answered he asked: ”How are things“ and was told: “fine, 3 were out by tea break, in total 7 were out by lunch time, the last one out was a duck!“ The husband fainted.
