In our house they are washed three times a day but if you live alone then why not stack them in a dish washer and do it every other day?

I personally just wash the dishes and put them away as I use them so they don't build up in the sink. Also means there is no hassle later. I don't have a dishwasher either. If you get a dishwasher that takes some of the workload out of it, though you still have to at least rinse the dishes before you put them in. Also, some people find that dishwashers are not worth the expense it is to buy them.

Join the club..... at least 3 times a day since i don't have a dishwasher.. if it is just you there shouldn't be too many.. trick is to run a sink before u start cooking and wash as u go... maybe try paper plates and cups if you hate it so much...

Whenever I have something to eat, unless I must leave suddenly. If you stop because "you live alone"---next it will be---no bed making, no shower cleaning, no mopping, and then no teeth brushing, no showering unless going to work!! So stop it before you spiral down to sloth like mentality! You are awesome and wonderfully made by God and you need to give honor to yourself as a child of God who has purpose in the world!

everytime we eat, otherwise it just becomes not only a messy looking pile of stuff but, after a day can actually be a lovely breeding ground for all kinds of nasty stuff lol
As far as using disposible items.........I personally feel we already put too much into our landfills.......that's just my opinion what you do with you money is your business
Frequent washing keeps down germs, which in turn keep you and your fellow citizens much healthier.
Besides leaving food stuff out and about only invite things like cock roaches, mice, germs and maggots.etc........sorry to gross ya out but it's the facts Jack lol

I wash them daily. We only have one big meal. The cereal bowls and cups from the morning are washed as they are used.
