There were some wonderful men back in the 18th century that began the cry, "Speak where the Bible Speaks and be Silent where the Bible is Silent". I follow that teaching today realizing there are 3 dispensations or religious eras in the Bible and follow the one under which is in effect today.
The first era was patriorichal, where God spoke through the elder men of a family.
The second was the Law of Moses where the 10 Commandments were a part of it.
The third is the law of grace, or the rules today when we worship Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
Paul to the Galatians, tells them if they follow the Law of Moses, they have fallen from grace. The 10 Commandments were a part of the Law of Moses so we are not under those 10 Commandments today. (Although, nine of the commandments were re-stated in the law of grace, we are not under the 10 Mosiac Commandments. The same rules for 9 apply to us today.
The law of grace or of Jesus Christ begins in the book of Acts. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the closing books of the Old Testament. Jesus lived and died a Jew. No Christian could exist until the blood was given on the cross for the sins of sinners.
It is scriptural to study so we can rightly divide the word of truth. It is scriptural that it is not within man to direct his own steps toward God. It is scriptural the Bible is not for private interpretation but has one meaning for everyone. It is scriptural that if any other gospel, than the one Paul and his fellow teachers at the time taught, it should be considered a curse of damnation.
Therefore anyone that adds to the written Gospel or takes from the Gospel taught in the Bible is not living according to the Gospel of Christ. If the Bible says it, believe it. Just be sure who is being spoken to or about.

I am agnostic and believe in the possibility of GOD. I live my life by this possibility as well by doing my level best to abide by GODs law and throwing myself at the mercy of the One GOD for my transgressions. Above all, service in the name of the welfare of my fellow man is service to GOD. By treating others as I wish to be treated, keeping my promises, and telling the truth, I hope to set myself as an example to those who wish to understand GODs will.
I do believe in science, including evolution and the big bang as well, as these principles are seperate from science and neither of them requires a loss of faith in GOD and vice versa.
My goal is to follow the will of the One GOD, which pretty much seperates me from all other faiths. I can't practice Judaism because it is contaminated with the man-made Talmud. I can't practice any branch of Christianity because it would require me to violate GODs first commandment, that I not practice idolatry by setting up partners for GOD and worshipping one of his prophets. And I can't practice Islam because even this faith has been reduced to a mockery of GOD through the Hadith, ritual prayer, idolatry, and crimes against humanity committed in the name of Islam. Just one more proof that religion is the wrong way to GODs will.

Jesus promised, "I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). This means that his Church will never be destroyed and will never fall away from him. His Church will survive until his return.
Among the Christian churches, only the Catholic Church has existed since the time of Jesus. Every other Christian church is an offshoot of the Catholic Church. The Eastern Orthodox churches broke away from unity with the pope in 1054. The Protestant churches were established during the Reformation, which began in 1517. (Most of today’s Protestant churches are actually offshoots of the original Protestant offshoots.) Only the Catholic Church existed in the tenth century, in the fifth century, and in the first century, faithfully teaching the doctrines given by Christ to the apostles, omitting nothing.
The list of popes can be traced back to Peter himself, the first pope:

Jesus’ Church is called catholic ("universal" in Greek) because it is his gift to all people. He told his apostles to go throughout the world and make disciples of "all nations" (Matt. 28:19–20). For 2,000 years the Catholic Church has carried out this mission, preaching the good news that Christ died for all men and that he wants all of us to be members of his universal family (Gal. 3:28). Nowadays the Catholic Church is found in every country of the world and is still sending out missionaries to "make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28:19). The Church Jesus established was known by its most common title, "the Catholic Church," at least as early as the year 107, when Ignatius of Antioch used that title to describe the one Church Jesus founded. The title apparently was old in Ignatius’s time, which means it went all the way back to the time of the apostles.
