This is just an announcement...I took a preg test this morning when I was getting ready for work, expecting that it would be negative and to my surprise it was positive...so I went to the store and bought 2 more tests and took those - all positive results. I told my husband and we couldn't be happier or more excited and it happened in one month of ttc. I can't believe it I thought it would take alot longer then that. Please share your recent finding out stories :-)

congratulations!!!!!! you are so lucky to have only been ttc for one month because i know what it can be like waiting and waiting and finally getting that positive (that you expect will be a negtive just because that is what all the others were before it!!!).
i was the same way, i had a dollar store test to start with and it read positive the morning i found out and i could not beliEVE it!! so i got 2 "brand name" tests and tried them and sure enough! Pregnant!
i am currently 7 weeks tomorow and have my first Dr. appt. monday :)
i look forward to seeing you in the "pregnancy" question section because hunny, i found out there is a whoooooole new set of questions that comes with being pregnant!! hope this helps!

OMG!! that is so exciting, and on Thanksgiving, I guess you have strong reason to be thankful for today!!!!! Becoming a parent is the most amazing experience in life! Before I knew I was pg I remember feeling really tired and sleepy and my nails were breaking a lot (baby was taking calcium from me). I thought I was anemic and needed to take vitamins and see a Dr. I've always been like a clock with my period and after 2 days late I took a hpt (home pregnancy test) to find out seconds later I was pg!!! it was totally unexpected since we were on birth control, but anyways, my husband was out of the country for a business trip and I was flying the next day to meet him and take a little vacation. When I got there he picked me up at the airport and he said "so what's up, what's new? and I said "new?, we are gonna be parents!!". he was in shock for 2 seconds, then he let out a huge smile, he cried, hug me and said he was thrilled with the news. After we came back from our trip we invited my parents & inlaws for dinner and told them. Fist grandchild in both families and they were super excited. My "anemia" is 10 months old. I have a gorgeous baby girl. Take good care of yourself and again, congratulations!

Congratulations!!! What a Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving to you!! Its an amazing experience, so enjoy it! Is this your first? My story is I had symptoms but didn't think I was pregnant. I took a test and was so happy and so in shock! I couldn't wait. I have a healthy 7 month old now.

congrats!!! just curious what did you do to try to concieve? Because thats fast, and I know someone who is is ttc I want to help her out. She is like a sis to me..
