If you are asking for you--it's a personal choice that you have to make.
If you are asking what we prefer--I use tampons. I used to use pads but I felt like I was wearing a diaper. Tampons give me a lot more freedom as far as movement. With a pad I was always afraid that everyone could tell because it would be pushing out against my pants. With a tampon I don't have to worry about it. Plus...I don't have to keep tugging at my underwear trying to get it in a comfortable position.

I personally like to wear tampons. To me, pads are really messy, and uncomfortable. After a few days of wearing pads I get something like diaper rash from the pad rubbing down there. Tampons are a lot cleaner, give you more freedom to move and play sports and stuff like that. It's really a personal choice.

It is a personal preference.
I use pads, although have recently started experimenting with tampons, although they take a bit of getting used to.

i find pads are easyer if your just sitting around altho they do make you feel as tho your wearing a nappy but tampons if your running around or standing up because i find when i sit down with a tampon in it hurts.

I like to use both. But i'll usually just use Always thin pad liners
