Mine is, any harm to a child.....child abuse, rape or physical abuse and murder

I was shocked a few years ago when I saw ear candles ina health store. They were $12. Heck, you can make your own out of an old bedsheet and a melted candle. My Grandma showed me how to do it 40 years ago. It's amazing how well they work.

Like breaking something or ruining someone's life. Augustine found this out but why is it so? (it has nothing to do with the devil because that would mean that he is has a greater influence on us than God. Devil> God)

First of all, I love my cat. He loves to snuggle and play and is a real sweetheart. But he can also be a real a**hole. When I'm getting ready to leave the house, he will stalk me and end up biting me on the ankles before i make it out the door. He knows exactly when I'm about to take a shower and hides in between the shower curtain and liner, so when i open the curtain he's right there to attack. Or when I'm working on the computer he'll come right in the way, and when i move him (even after petting him for a bit) he bites me.
Now, this can be all so cute if he was just nipping...but he doesn't. This cat bites way too hard breaking my skin every fricken time. And now that I am pregnant I'm thinking I should get rid of him when the baby is born. My baby is more precious than any animal. I am worried my cat will bite the baby like he does to me? Do you think my cat will hurt my baby?

My money is on the 3 Stooges, specifically, Curley. He was not just slap-stick comedy. He used puns too. Puns are the lowest form of humor, but the highest form of wit. He was just a misunderstood but hugely funny guy.

Ive currently been working on my job as a retail associate for 3 weeks and recently they've been hiring a lot of people...for thanksgiving all my family is going to another state and I will be here alone...is it appropriate to ask for 4 days vacation even though i just started... I mean there are a lot of people that can fill my position, but then again im asking time off when theyre going to be busy. Would it be okay if I just asked I mean if not its okay ? i am recent graduate from 4 yr university with BA in communication. i will probably start to look for jobs in marketing or public relations. But i am very concerned about the work environment especially for women entry level employees.

not only because i think it's hard to get a job in this field, but also because I am worried of the possibility I will probably have to be under control of someone else either privately or officially at work..

originally i've been thinking of getting into law schools and pass the bar exam, but i was almost about to give up the plan because i was not so sure about my capability to cope with the numerous works and writings, etc. But now i again start to consider applying for law schools instead of looking for jobs in marketing/PR.

If there's anyone who's thought about the same issue or someone who has some idea about my worry, please leave a comment..

I had a Jehovah's Witness come to my house for a few months and I thought we were friends. We talked for about 20 minutes twice a week when she came over. We talked about God and I even went to one of their meetings. I am Penecostal and go to my own church. I told her this and she seemed cool with it but always invited me to their church and their meetings. My husband recently decided to go back to church with me and told me that he doesn't want the Johovah's Witnesses to come back over anymore. So being the obedient wife that I am I had to tell her that she can't come over anymore to do bible studies. She seemed to be ok with it and said if I ever decided to come back to call her. I was heart broken to tell her that she can't come back anymore and I was hoping that she would want to be friends but she acted like she didn't want to be a friend unless I continued their bible studies. Can't she be my friend without studying their ways or is it that she just doesn't want to be friends?

The reason I ask: I was taught that it was "Love one another as I have loved you," and to love God. I'm Roman Catholic.

While talking to a Baptist, he told me I was wrong, that Jesus's commission to us was "Go out and convert the nations," and that "Love one another" was only for, as he put it, "the brethren," the people in his church.

He was very adamant that he did not have to love people who weren't already "saved," per the Baptist church. I found that very interesting.

What is your church, and what does it hold as Jesus's greatest, most important command to us?

I am 26 weeks 5 days pregnant and I'm due Feb. 20th, not sure of the sex of the baby yet. At my 20 week ultrasound they weren't able to tell me, I go back next week.

I do, I know lot's of them. Does it bother anyone else that there are so many people who feel so strongly that the Iraq war is justified and could serve their country and assist the war effort by joining the Military... but do not? Is that hypocritical? I try to understand how a person can reconcile their staunch support for the war with their unwillingness to serve, but I can't seem to come to grips with it.
