Dipping bullets in pig's blood as to religously humiliate Islamic Terrorists:
1- Gives them another reason to hate us
2-Goes directly against the democracy we are trying to establish in Iraq
3-Makes the United States looks like sadistic bullies
4-Show how petty pro-war conservartives are.

Where's all the love and compaassion that is supposed to be in the white man's bible?

Where's the diplomatic establishment we are creating to show Islamists the path to American light?

Or are pigs in favor of dipping bullets in pigs blood?
(oink oink)

My son does not eat very well. He is underweight. He was born 2 months early and was growth restricted, 2 pounds 13 ounces. He was taken off formula 2 weeks ago and put on whole milk with 2 bottles of pediasure a day. However, he doesn't like to eat solids. His main source of nutrition is milk and pediasure.

How do I get him to eat and do you know any nutricious recipes I can feed him? He is not very interested and not willing to eat. He won't eat what we eat and I have to practically force food in his mouth. I don't like to do it but he sees an occupational therapist and that's what he suggests to do until he eats. Once the food is in his mouth he will eat it but it's a fight to get it in there. What am I doing wrong? I need good recipes. Thanks

In the USA, at least, the religious are more likely to reproduce and to have more offspring if they reproduce than are the irreligious. Likewise, religious attitudes, including irreligion, are heavily influenced by upbringing. Interestingly enough, the most commonly accepted "objective" measure of evolutionary fitness is a count of grandoffspring. That is, if ones genes are more "fit", then it is logical that this would manifest in greater reproductive success for ones children. Therefore, since the religious are:

1: More likely to reproduce.
2: More likely to have religious offspring.
3: More likely to have more offspring, altogether.

It is only rational to conclude that they will have more grandoffspring than the irreligious.

Thus, could they be more evolutionarily fit than the irreligious?

The argument is that because of all the problems in the world, the Flying Spaghetti Monster must have been drunk, careless, etc. when he first created life.
Is there any proof?
YES! The first scientific proof of "Unintelligent Design" by claims that the insertion of species Penne rigate into family Rigatone, order Pasta resulted in the creation of a new species of Noodleous doubleous. It has been considered the only explanation is that this was caused by the holy Flying Spaghetti Monster, whose "noodly appendage intervened".
Thoughts?

This is my first pregnancy and I'm not sure if my Dr. is being neglectful or if I'm expecting too much. I am 7 weeks. I have seen him 2 times, once to confirm and once to determine the due date (@6 weeks). He didn't really give me any information on what to expect. He asked some history questions, looked at a calendar to determine the date (no internal) then said see you in 5 weeks (that would be week 12) to ehar the ehart beat.

I've noticed a few myths that have a lot in common, and I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to why.

The first is the legend of Persephone and the legend of Eve. Eve was tempted by a fruit and took it, then was banished from the Garden for eternity. Persephone was "tempted" by the pomegranate, and took it, and was banished to the underworld for six months.

The myth of Persephone also has a lot in common with the story of Isis and Osiris. In both, another god betrays someone (Persephone is abducted by Hades; Osiris is chopped up by Seth). Isis taught people how to harvest; Demeter was the goddess of harvest. In both legends, the woman seeking the victim does not reveal that she is a goddess, and is asked to tend to a child whom she wishes to make immortaI by throwing him in the fire; in both, the mother of the child walks in, breaking the spell. In both, the victim ends up ruling over the dead.

Why do these myths have so much in common?

So, someone spends their years from 13-30 being very promiscuous , irresponsible, drunk, and dabbling with drugs. They then claim that it was all because their parents were too hard on them, which in turn caused them to sleep with a man who paid them attention when they were 13, which started the whole ball rolling ....
Does this excuse really hold water?

Everyclass I take, I always here, Christians and Catholics, when they mean to say Protestants and Catholics, I would assume, well that leaves out Orthodoxy. I'm in college, and I've heard this since like seventh grade, why do people keep thinking that Protestantism is Christianity, and everything else is different. I'm a Protestant by the way. Let's not leave out our history, the three main brances of Christianity are Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Protestantism. Why do I keep hearing that Catholics aren't Christians?
