If you have ever been raped how did you get over it?

WOW. I have never been raped so I cannot even pretend to know what someone would be going thru. Id say to surround yourself with friends and family- people u trust and know they love u. Counseling is definetely important for any trauma- especially something like rape. U cant keep it all bottled up inside u- u need to get your feelings out. There r so many support groups out there that all the women will have that in common- and it helps to have another person who is going thru the same thing. Im sure it will take time to heal from something like that. Good luck and God Bless

I have never been raped before (thank god) and I never want that to happen to me or any body else. I guess the only advice is to talk to someone. Maybe a counselor or a close friend or your parents. If this happened to you then I am sorry that it happened to you and please talk to someone.

Never happened to me.
Sorry if it happened to you or someone you know. The best thing you can do is get help and tell people what happened. And also you have to face it and not believing that it happened is the worst thing. It happened and you will have to face it. Its so sickening and disturbing.
Hope whatever happened to you or a Friend never happens again.

medication, talking to friends, facing it, realizing that it did in fact happen and nothing is going to change what happened but being set on not letting one guy ruin my life really helped.
