Historically this has been proven true time and time again. There are those who say that He wasn't the Son of God, but their disbelief of that fact doesn't make Him any less of a REAL PERSON in the history of the world!

there is a really great book by Lee Strobel called "A Case For the Real Jesus" you might want to read it if you are REALLY interested in the answer to your question.

Yes, he was.
Jesus Christ, I love you.
And guess what? I believe in the magic/mystery that doesn't seem real right now.
Why don't you open your eyes, and see that there's more to the world than, well, what you see?
Seeing isn't believing, and Jesus Christ is as real as you yourself.
Compared to the cosmic memory, we know nothing, about everything. You only believe what you see, and that's impossible. How do you know that Pluto exists if you yourself haven't seen it with your naked eye? How do you know we're a galaxy if we've never even left the galaxy? We don't know what's out there, we only know this little percentage of the cosmic energy, our mind.
And even our BRAIN, a thing so close to us, we believe, it's right there in your scull. You think it's just a slippery intestine-like piece of nervous tissue. It's not. We only know 25% of our brain. Then, if we know 25% percent of everything to know about something so close to us, how do you know about something that's billions of kilometers away from you?
Exactly. Please, try not taking things either too lightly or too seriously, because if you take them too lightly, you'll never know anything, and if you take them too seriously, you'll miss the important "light" facts. Just a genious moron. We're idiots compared to what's really out there. Not even idiots, we just don't exist. We and they are like comparing a newborn child to a grown mathematician. And that's not enough to compare them.
Please, don't take this too lightly, or too seriously, it will only do you damage...
And most of all, don't close your mind off to things that exist materially.
What is real love?
What is hapiness?
What is sadness?
What is hate?
What is sincerity?
What is life?

Probably, but it's not for certain.

During his supposed lifetime (around 6 BC - 33 AD), not one person ever wrote about him. Not one.

The first Christian to write about him was Paul, around 50 AD (but Paul admits he never actually met Jesus, but rather that Jesus just came to him in a dream). Paul reveals almost no details about Jesus' life at all.

Other Christians wrote the Gospels about 30-40 years later, and for the most part it is fairly obvious they didn't met Jesus either (even though around 180 AD, Christians gave names to the Gospels, such as Matthew and John, that seemed like they did).

The first non Christian to write about Jesus was probably Josephus, but his account is highly disputed. Nevertheless, he was born after Jesus supposedly died, and wrote this in 96 AD, almost 60 years after the events. By this time it was obvious that Christians already existed, so even if real, Josephus' account doesn't inform us much on whether or not he existed.

All the things I say above are common knowledge, but things not talked about often. Check the facts for yourself, but it is tough to say with any certainty whether he existed or not as a real person that bears any resemblance to the person in the Gospels.

As far as I know there is not any evidence of Jesus existing, He is NOT the incarnate of god, He may have been a great messenger, He may also have been a stolen story from the egyptians. But all that does not matter, what matters is if you choose to live your life in spiritual love you have a good chance of getting back to father. no matter what you call yourself. If you practice dominion, judging others, you will not be on fathers path.

What I find funny is that humans always question if the events that happened in the bible were real (because they weren't there), yet they don't question political things like the revolutionary war (even though they weren't there either).

All of historians, religions, and cultures acknoledge Jesus as a real person from our past. The central point of contraversy around Jesus is who is Jesus Christ? Is he just a man ... is he only God ... is he a man who was a prohet?

I have faith that Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God: our savior.

Yeah. Both Josephus and Tacitus mention Him. Now, they don't say that He was God, but they do say that He WAS real. There is more proof of Jesus than there is of, I think it's Julius Caesar.
