I have old hip fracture which welded incorrectly doctors say there is infection inside &can't operate .help!

If there is an infection they should have put you on anti-biotics or this could cause more problems and be dangerous.
I don't know the reasons for not operating, but my gran had both hips done and she could move around a lot better after.
But on the other hand my husbands Aunt had her hips done and also got infection took anti biotics to come right. She is quite over weight and so she still has problems with her hips and walking. This is a very difficult decision to make it is pretty much 50/50 isn't it.
All I can suggest in the mean time besides perhaps seeing another doctor or specialist is taking inflammatory pain killers. Good luck
