I have had the same numbers since the very beginning of National Lottery - I am so afraid to change them - I should have just had a lucky dip each time, cos then it wouldn't bother me whether or not I see Wednesday's show. I only put my numbers on for Saturday, so my numbers may well have come up on Wednesday!! I avoid Wed. show like the plague. I think I would go into a decline if I saw my numbers come out on Wed night and not got the numbers on.!!What a sad case I am.!! Maybe we should make a pact to ditch our regular numbers? I will if you will.....:-)

When I played the Lottery, I used the same numbers over and over...it almost felt like an obsession. So, one day I just quit, thinking I would be better off saving the money that I had been playing the Lottery with. My numbers STILL have not come up, and I quit over ten years ago. Good luck to you though.

I always play the same numbers: my son, daughter, and mom and my birthdays AND a quick pick. I figure that if I stay static with MY numbers, they have to hit me eventually.

I've been playing these numbers for about 10 years. I wish they'd hurry up and pull them, I'm running out of money! ;+)

For the pick 3, I use 3-2-6 which is D-A-N on the phone dial. My dad always played 1-2-3. He said they were just as good as any other numbers.

GOOD luck to all.

We did, and we did. I'm sure we've furnished enough money to provide books for an entire school, and decided perhaps we could put that money to good use ourselves. We already pay a state income tax on our retirement funds, and that includes taxes for schools, so, no, we don't play the lottery anymore. Like Merl, above me, it's been about three years now, and the numbers still haven't come up.

We used to play certain numbers in FL, but when we moved here they didn't have the lottery for several years. When we finally got it and we'd play we just do the 'quick pick'. I've been thinking about going back to 'my' own numbers though. I think I liked it better that way.

I wouldn't recommend it. I once chose my numbers and wrote them down, based on personal reasons. I was going to buy my ticket on my way home from the hairdressers but the traffic was bad so I decided to go home and pick it up the following morning (Saturday). Guess what, I forgot and would have won on five and the bonus. I felt sick for about a fortnight because that money would have changed my life at the time.

No. I'd be afraid that if I did change, my old numbers would be next draw. It would be like dropping a lot of quarters in the same slot machine and then having the next player hit with the first coin. I'd play the 'what if' game the rest of my life.

My mom used to play the same set of numbers every lottery. When she passed away I started playing those same numbers. She said that one day they were going to get her rich!

I love going into my local shop and asking the very attractive young lady behind the the counter "Can I have a lucky dip this weekend" she always replies "you have no chance mate" and giggles at the absurdity of it
