Some people believe yes & others believe no. Some people believe that loneliness turns people insane & others believe that you function better alone. I have social issues with people because they think I'm out of the "norm" for society. It's not my fault I'm this way. I wasn't raised correctly & I'm an adult who has to make up for my childhood & people don't understand why I'm the way I am. Now no one wants to be around me, I can't function around people, & I can't get jobs. Am I DESTINED to be alone for the rest of my life?

I have 2 cats, one 22lb male, and a small female. They never go outside, well almost never. On one fast escape to the outdoors, I guess the big guypicked up a flea. Anyway, i was a bit lax on the flea meds and the little suckers took hold. When I discovered that they both had fleas, I started in with the flea meds (Frontline, the best kind I think), I also treated the house and got a "flea trap", which does actually catch fleas, though not in huge numbers. Anyway, the point is that while the little cat is good now, and I have kept it up with the meds, the big guy still has fleas. I will find them on him 2 days after I give the medicine. Is he too big for the meds to work well enough? Is there a BIG cat version? Or does the vet have some sort of ultra flea bomb? What should I do? I am getting really sick of this, and I know my poor cat must be misserable. Help!

for the past several days, i have been sleeping at unusual times. i wake up at around 2 am. then i sleep from 8 am to 9 pm. i think its just whacked. what you think of this??? i am sleeping for more than 10 hours!!!! is something wrong???

Why the hell is there a question on here every morning about some celebrity dying, and then of course because that ONE person had to ask it in the morning, then the rest of the day there are a million questions wondering if so and so died. Who is starting these rumors?!

Going into today's season finale, HMS drivers have won an amazing 18 of 35 races.

By adding Dale Earnhardt Jr next year will HMS see an increase in total wins for the team or a decrease?

I have just been on and can't believe the response from English people to the Scotland result.I and many others hope the England team do well in Europe and always support Wales & N.Ireland too.I can only assume these are not football fans,I was at Hampden last night and although Scotland are playing better these days we were beaten fair and square(even although the ref was blind)So come on you racists give it a rest!!

A friend has asked me to read over a letter she is writing to a judge, and this sentence has me scratching my head:

"The children were in the presence of John Doe only while also accompanied by one of the babysitters; Sarah Doe, Alysa Public, Jane Smith; or myself."

Is there a better way to word or punctuate this sentence? As I said, this is a letter to a judge, so if you are not certain, please abstain from answering this question.

I'm just hoping someone can help me understand this beyond my limited religious thinking (I'm being serious).

My sister and her family have come to visit and are staying with my parents. My brother-in-law is an atheist, my sister is agnostic. Both were raised LDS(Mormon) and were mormon until a little less than 2 years ago. My sister told my mom about a month ago that she would go to church with her while they were here. My mom made matching dresses from my sister's 3 girls and for my 2 girls. She was hoping to take pics and then just go to sacrament meeting, not the whole sunday services. My sister told her they were going yesterday. This morning, my brother-in-law said he didn't want his kids going to church because he thinks it will be too confusing for them to have gone in the past, quit going, and then to go today. His girls want to go show off their dresses, but their dad has said no. Right now there are hurt feelings on both sides. I'm looking for some perspective so that I

Americans or Iranians?

Americans wanted Sunni Al Qaeda out of Iraq but so did the Shia Iranians.

Americans wanted Saddam out of power but so did the Iranians.

Americans wanted a democratic Iraqi Govt. & so did the Shia Iranians because Iran knew that the Iraqi Shia would dominate that Govt. & become instant Iranian allies.

Bush basically did what millions of Iranian troops couldn't during the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s which doesn't really make much sense when Bush put Iran on the axis of evil list? Does it?
