I think they will win less races next year. Maybe 12. Hendrick seems to have better cars. Chevrolet is still the dominant force in NASCAR, even the #1 Chevrolet makes them work for their wins. The #99 and #17 are pretty wicked when they're having a good day, that would be Ford. And I have a sneaking suspicion that Toyota is gonna shock everyone, because I can't see NASCARs crazy men Kyle and Tony letting anyone rest. As far as Dodge goes, Kurt Busch doesn't care about nothing but winning, and Ryan Newman makes qualifying look easy. And it will be fun seeing the new Bud Car trying to work it's way up through the pack. It's not going to be easy for Junior, and it's going to be kind of emotional having to watch him compete against his old team mates. And then there's everyone else! I think Hendrick caught a lotta teams with their guard down. My opinion is that if Hendrick wins as many races as they did this year, that they should be honored for remaining as the best organization in the business. If a little more knowledge and innovation is shared, the competition is going to get tightened up a notch. It's harder to stay on top when you have so many who are hunting you down.

I don't see Jr. affecting the win totals next yr. he's going to have to get used to the HMS package and the pit crew is going to have to learn to work in unison. That takes time, and may require some adjustments w/personnel.
I DO think that racing will be more competitive, that HMS will win their share of races, but the new car WILL allow other teams to be close to or equal with HMS.
Everyone will be working with the same cars next year, which will help out the teams who had limited funding this year due to the two different cars and the cost of fabrication & setup. Some of the teams just didn't have the money allocations to be able to compete this year.
I'm going to lowball this number, I predict 11 wins for HMS, with a lot of top fives.

do no longer know for confident that Hendricks boys are being handed wins, even though it actual seems suspicious. Take final week's race, as an occasion. all of us knew that Newman had of venture to beat Gordon to the initiating/end line, however the officers desperate to throw a warning in the previous that ensue rather of waiting to be certain who have been given there first. If the warning flag would have flown after the crossed it, and Gordon would have held Newman off, then no person would have been waiting to doubt Jeff's win inspite of how they felt approximately him. till NASCAR gets new officers over the off season, I discern we would be seeing Jr. interior the winner's circle plenty extra next 12 months. don't get me incorrect, i like Dale; yet while his call all started with something different than the great E, he would be no longer ordinary-pressed to even stumble on a journey next 12 months. In my very own opinion, Jr. has yet to coach himself worth of even being seen to be at the back of the wheel of the Black #3.
