The amount of natural sunlight will have an effect on your moods.

A foggy day will ruin my mood. I like all other types of weather except for the hot Santa Ana winds when I lived in So. Calif. There is not much a person can do except pull the curtains closed and just wait for the hated weather to change.

Winter in Indiana can be pretty dark and gloomy.I work third shift and sleep during the day and work at night. It can get pretty overwhelming not seeing any bright light.I have a friend that lives in West Palm Beach, Florida, and if I get feeling really blue, I try to find a cheap flight down to there to brighten my mood.Or, I put on some good ol rock and roll and dance like nobody's watching.

Unfortunately, yes. I am a sun/warm weather baby. I get depressed, feel 'caged' when the weather is less than my preference.

I try to get out, go to the movies with friends, dine out or go to one of my grandsons sporting events [as I did yesterday]. If I give in to my mood I end up laying on the couch feeling sorry for myself.

yes, and this is normal. The lack of sun will actually play a huge part on our moods. I get blue when the skies are gray. Movies and exercise help perk me up though. Either that or I start baking.

Sunny days do put me into better mood. To get out of down mood play some old rock and roll.

Absolutely. We've had fog for days along the Baja California coastline, no shadows on the ground makes me depressed. I go out for a few Margaritas and chat up the neighbors, watch old movies on TV, pray for rain..

The first snowfall bums me out. I hate winter with a passion (don't know why I live in Wisconsin!)

I try to look at the bright side of winter. I figure it is like recharging your batteries, you sleep alot and get well rested.
Like hibernating.

I also gain weight in the winter which bums me out too.

DEFINITELY. I am very 'in tune' with the minutest weather changes. Any change seems to unsettle me and the bigger the change the worse I feel. Wind unsettles me real bad and I get very jittery. Fog just depresses me. Rain I love. Sun I love as long as not too hot. Snow excites me. Frost makes me feel as if I am in wonderland. It's a real roller coaster !!!! I tend to play music when it is making me feel bad.
