at what temperature does ocean water turn to water vapor and clouds?.... I'm guessing it's quite a bit below boiling, as seems to be necessary in a 'still' to get the steam to become 'fresh' water..... so.... could we kill a couple of these birds by something like this?.... running salt water thru black pipes to warm up in the sunlight, maybe in the same place as the solar collectors for elec power?, then out to holding ponds with plastic over them for the condensate to collect and run off....moved by pumps powered by windmill turbines? seems like this would work good in the desert... hot days, cool nights for the condenseate to work?.... of course, we'd have to pump it from sea to desert, right?... same windmills?....

I'm prob pretty far out, but there's gotta be a way for us to get that water made useful to those who need it!!... got any other ideas out there?....

i hear alot of gossip going around ( i work at a radio station volunteering) I was talking with the guys...and this guy was talking about something going on with another station....that this girl got hired as a director...and the other guy she was working with happened to be a director before her...and that he he said not to tell anyone they were dating.....
it doesnt really concern me(especially since that thing going on is hopefully only going on in that station) but im not sure if i want to work in this industry that involves that? but that happens everywhere right? nursing?

whenever things have happened to me, each and every time, the people who showed concern for me were lost people. The Christians/church people just vanished and just talked about how busy they were with their family. Like when my wife died. Not one church person called, came over, nothing, I got a few cards, but they didn't indicate that I could call them, the lost people were like here's my number, call me if you need anything. If I call a Christian about a need every time I get whining about how inconvenient it is and how busy they are. If I ask a lost person they clear their schedule, they don't complain, and they are there, no complaining nothing. Just cheerfully. I can't tell you how many situations this has been the case for. But I don't want my emotional support coming from lost people. It just doesn't seem like a good idea. but everytime something happens all the Christians vanish. It doesn't matter what the situation is. I am very involved in church....

I am sick of being mistreated. My mother made me move to texas where i am un happy. And all i do is have flash backs on how my life used to be in florida. She always calls me names like **** and whore for stupid reasons. She recently told me that she doesnt care about me anymore and for me to not ask her for anything. So all ive done is stay in my room. I havent eaten and im having a hard time sleeping. I feel weak, and useless. I randomely get angry at her while being in my room. And start squeezing random things to try to get my anger out. She complains about how im not even a part of the family anymore. because im never home and im always in my room. But sometimes its just easier to go in my room and ignore everything. I have a little brother whos 6. Who i love more then anything. Me and him have gone through alot. And i try to show my little brother how ill always be there for him. But its gotten to the point where i dont care about anything anymore. What is happening to me?

I know that you can not eat it while pregnant or nursing, because the berries are poisionus, but for X-mas I was supposed to be bundling it up in bags to sell.

im having a hard time trying to save myself for marriage...i mean i havent had a bf in forever because i'm afraid that we would have sex and i would be very very upset about it. But i think its time that i start dating again but what do i do if my bf wants to have sex and i cant and how would i tell him? My dear uncle had to go to a nursing home and could no longer care for his dog Pippen. I thought the right thing to do would be to give Pippen a loving home instead of seeing the beautiful animal go to a shelter, or worse, the pound. In no time Pippen started going out of his way to bother me. He does things like lay his head on my lap when I'm watching TV or reading. He barks at strangers who come to the door. And the worst is he stands at the door for what seems like hours and whines. I try to ignore his abberant behavior, but when I do he'll make a mess on the floor. I would hate to get rid of this beautiful dog, but I am at my wit's end.

For "prendre" , I can say the first r (pr) nicely, but the second time I don't find the time to say the uvular 'r'.

Last night my husband and I took our 15 month old out to dinner. Half way through, I ordered her an orange juice cup. She had a couple of sips, an my being the mom I am, I decided to taste it. Thank God I did. There was alcohol in it. My husband told the manager and the manager took it to the bar and came back stateing that there was Jose Cuervo. We dont drink so I was shocked. The manager apologized over and over so did the waitress. My husband told them a couple of words and we carried on. My mind raced. What ifs went running. If she drank it all and we took her to the hospital???So we left. My child is perfectly fine. Then when we got home,I called the police and got a deputy to meet my husband at the resturant. The deputy logged it and the manager admitted. No police report was filed because it was not intentional nor was it a crime.

My friend told me a guy took her to a cheap hourly hotel.She doesnt know whether to feel bad for him b/c he couldnt afford a reputable hotel or feel dirty and "trampy" b/c she put herself in this situation.I say she should feel both.
