Some are honestly mistaken.

Others are blinded by radical political conservatism. If liberals, environmentalists or, worst, Al Gore say something it simply MUST be wrong. No matter how many scientists and world leaders of every political persuasion, say the same thing.

Did you know that, according to the Mayan calendar,

"The Mayan calendar is divided into Seven Ages of Man. The fourth epoch ended in August 1987. The Mayan calendar comes to an end on Sunday, December 23, 2012. Only a few people will survive the catastrophe that ensues. In the fifth age, humanity will realize its spiritual destiny. In the sixth age, we will realize God within ourselves, and in the seventh age we will become so spiritual that we will be telepathic."

This is also backed up in an ancient Chinese calendar (from what I've read.......lol).

OMG, this means we're all (or most of us) going to die in the year 2012?

Do you believe everything you read?

Nobody can say with certainty if global warming is due to man, or just a normal cycle of the Earths atmosphere. Sure, all the pollutants man is putting into the atmosphere is not good for us, but when you look back to the beginning of earths formation, the world has uninhabitable for human (or any type of) life, and over millions of years it changed to as we know it now.

I claim to be no expert in the matter, but I know I don't believe everything I read. Like someone mentioned previously .......... the jury is still out on the subject.

Like everything else, there are two sides to every story. Dispite those that claim global warming is an immediate threat., there are an equal number of very knowledgeable individuals, including scientists and climatologists that dispute the facts as presented by Mr. Gore and Company. The jury is still out, in my case! I need more indisputable evidence!

I think it's more of a debate as to whether Global Warming is man made or not. People would have to be insane to deny that warming is not going on.

Alot of us are the same people that had to live through the return to the ice age in the 70's. That was our fault, too. Oh and there was an incredible oil shortage at that time supposedly.
