is there something you can use that is safe to put on a dogs blanket so they dont pee on it? no matter how many times i wash my puppies blanket, she continues to go on it. i heard that there is some type of spray that stop[s them from going on the same things or in the same places?

is the blanket in her crate? take it away from her for a while...they discover if they go in the blanket they do not get wet and they can move it away from them... it also reduces splatter... just take it away from her until she stops having accidents....
it can become a lifelong issue..she gets use to going on a blaket..and you are not paying attention she will pee on your personal blankets

I would ask your vet as they would have all of the safe allergy free kind of stuff. One thing that comes to mind is dogs are sensitive to smells and maybe the laundry detergent you are using has a smell that the pup doesnt like and triggers it to pee. Peeing can also be territory marking behaviour I used to have a male dog that as an adult would pee in its water trough every time I filled it with clean water apparently as a form of territory marking- pups take a while to understand keeping their bed clean makes it a nicer place to sleep.
Citronella is used as deterent in those collars that stop dogs barking and also in various preparations at our local nursery that are supposed to stop dogs chewing on plant and also(strays etc) coming onto your property. The only problem with that is that it may even deter the pup from wanting to sleep in its bed.
Ps I just had a vague recollection of one of those tv vets using something like Bicarb to get rid of smells so that dogs wouldnt keep peeing on somthing.. cnat remember enoutgh of it to be sure- so best to talk to a vet.

Take the blanket out and dont give her anything but a cheap bed, and once she is potty trained then give it to her.

use a brand new blanket, once they pee on it, they will always pee on it, because now it has the scent.....
