im having a hard time trying to save myself for marriage...i mean i havent had a bf in forever because i'm afraid that we would have sex and i would be very very upset about it. But i think its time that i start dating again but what do i do if my bf wants to have sex and i cant and how would i tell him? I'm just afraid that i will lose a lot of guys because of my view...what should i do?? I cant wait forever for the perfect guy to accept it...what if he never finds me?? and when he eventually finds me i'm afraid that i will be too old to get married...i just dont want to die a virgin and unmarried.

Whoa whoa whoa! There's nothing wrong with being a virgin. I regret losing my virginity when I did every second of everyday, because now i've found someone who I feel truly and honeslty completes me. If you have waited 'til now that you are 21 and have decided to be a virgin there is no reason why you shouldn't wait until you get married. It's such a cliche but it's very true. Someone who cares for you will do anything to make you happy. You will find someone who accepts what you are for, and that is the ultimate test to know whether someone is actually there for you in all aspects and not only physically. The best of luck to you. And don't be afraid that you will die a virgin and unmarried, don't let anyone make you feel bad because it's a choice not an obligation.

First of all you're not old and you're too young to be saying "I just don't want to die a virgin and unmarried" at age 21.
You need to get your life how you want or as close to with your work, where you live and the rest and then when you are ready look for Mr. Right.
Be an independent woman with your own place, your own income and such as then you won't be dependent on any man especially if it doesn't work out.
You don't want to walk ahead of a man or have a man walk ahead of you, you want to walk through life beside each other.
As far as sex, you will know when it's the right man and the right time. If in doubt don't put out! This is to the point but the truth.

As for finding someone who'll appreciate you can take a long time and this can involve having more than one boyfriend. You won't know until you try. Don't expect to find the man of your dreams on the first try.
If your goal of saving virginity until marriage is important, then you won't have any problem telling your potential boyfriend about that. Some men are okay with that if you two connect. If they're not, then you can either move on or abandon your goal. It depends on how much you want sex or want to keep your virginity until marriage.

Wanting to wait to have sex shouldnt prevent you from dating!
A respectable guy is one who will know our boundaries and not push you to have sex.
Don't jump out on the first date and be like "So I'm waiting till marriage, any questions?" But instead enjoy yourself and when the time comes, then you can bring it up.
P.S
if your afraid aqbout honoring that promise you made to yourself about waiting till the right guy or marrige, make it a verbal thing. Say it to a best friend, someone you wouldn't want to dissappoint. Tell her outloud that you will wait to marriage or until you feel its right!
Having someone else knowing will help keep you in line!

if you do not want to have sex with your boyfriend untill marriage, he should respect that or he is not the right man for you. I say you get out there and start dating while your young enjoy your life. Sex isn't everything i believe there are men that are willing to wait with you if they truly care about you, they will do anything.

My best friend was 24 when she lost her vurginity and she was married when it happened. She waited and found a guythat understood. There are other things that you can do besides sex to have fun. If the person you date tries to get you to do this they atre not meant for you.
