Fuel Economy of the C-130 Hercules Airplane?

After listening to NPR on the C-130 Hercules fuel economy @ 3 gallons to the mile, I find that hard to believe. Can this be confirmed? I had no success with my internet research on this subject.

The salad bar has all this white lettuce (not green, white) that I don't want on my salad, and everytime I get a sandwich, the guy wants to put a handful of lettuce on it, even though I don't ever say the word "lettuce." Why are people constantly trying to feed me lettuce, when I don't like it and I'm just plain tired of looking at it?

Thanksgiving dinner, a boy was bothering his mother while she was trying to prepare dinner for her guests. "Why don't you help set the table," the mother said. "How, mommy?" "Get out the special dishes" she said, so the boy set out the special dishes, "Get out the special glasses," so the boy did. "get out the special silverware" so the boy did. But mom got too buzy, and couldn't be bothered. The boy wanted to finish setting the table, but he couldn't find the good napkins, then he remembered mom's "special" napkins that she kept under the bathroom sink. So he set the table with those! is he cheating or am i overeacting?

i've been with my boyfriend for 3 months, and these last 2 weeks its been fight after fight. anyways, about a week ago, i broke up with him (in a bad way) and we were over. then 2days later, i talked to him to try to work things out,. He told me that when we broke up he had kissed another girl in skool for revenge, he told me there was no feelings and w.e, but never wanted to tell WHO the girl was? (i told him i wasnt gonna fight her or anything)so today i decided to confront him and if he didnt tell me who she was then we were gonna have ot brake up. I couldnt continue on with the curiousity. He cussed me out and tsated screaming, and decided NOT to tell me. Is he hiding something...or am i overacting?

Can dreams be a warning?I had a dream that might just relate to my relationship right now.?

Well, I had a dream that my godbrother, who is like a real brother to me, was going to leave for another country for 2 years and isn't coming back. I'm afraid if it might be a sign that we're drifting further apart as right now we aren't as close as we used to be. Maybe in 2 years time or for 2 years, we're not gonna be close? I'm afraid of losing him... What is the posibility of this dream? Hmm...

Magic in the Garden

I am about to tell you something I have never told anyone. My next door neighbor has a small garden gnome of the sort you've probably seen before. The thing is, my neighbor's gnome comes to life for one evening a month, always on the twelfth day of the month, between 8:00 and 11:00 pm. The gnome explores the yard and has even climbed the fence to come into my yard. I know this not because my neighbor told me but because I have personally experienced it. I asked my neighbor about it once, and he looked at me like I was crazy. How rude! I've scene the gnome spring to life many times, and I'm confident I was awake, not intoxicated, and of sound mind. Thus, I have no question that the gnome is real.

Do you believe that my neighbor's gnome springs to life on a regular schedule as I have described? No? Well, I suppose you are entitled to your opinion. But how can you know for sure? Isn't it at least possible that what I am describing is real?

Wouldn't this be considered child abuse?

OK. Well, in my friend's grade seven homeroom class, the teacher said that come Valentine's Day, the home room captains would pick a name out of a hat, and that person would pick one person they like, and some time during the day, kiss that person. She was serious, too. I just don't think that that's fair... also, the person that would have their named picked would probably be really embarrassed, and then everyone would be all nervous to see who they would want to kiss. I just don't think it is right that the teacher is provoking things like that. What are your thoughts on this?
