I personally didn't like illegal immigrants getting licenses but I did like the fact they would be documented. I think the WHOLE process for anyone acquiring a legit license is so nerve wrecking I can see why one would prefer to go with out...

I noticed that when Spitzer changed his mind, so did Hillary. She too is now saying she will not give illegals licenses.

Not a day to soon. I hope he as well as many running and serving in public office will learn the lesson of, you can make promises to who ever you want, in this case illegal aliens and their supporters, but in the end ( hopefully more often now) you will have to face the wrath of the voters for those promises if they do not support your promises

Sounds like someone gave him a transfusion of sanity...or being the politician he is he figured out he would have a snowballs chance of re-election. Either way it was the right decision.
