Solve the equation without using logarithms.

1. 4^5x = 16^2x-1


Solve the equation, First express your answer in terms of natural logarithms (For instance, x=(2+ 1n 5) / (1n 3)). Then use a calculator to find an approximation for the answer.

2. 2^x = 3^x-1


3. e^2x = 5

Please show all work and formula used to get this answer.

ok so i cant make friends with girls...they hate me. Aparently im too competitive and weird...that being said, i tend to get along well with guys. Here in lies the problem...the only friends i have are guys who have crushes on me. Now...id understand that if I didnt have a long term boyfriend, but come on people...why is it that you guys still think you have a chance and 2 months down the line when nothign happens you get pissed off and flip out? hello my Sir and I have been living this lifestyle for almost 2 years now.. We use to live in las vegas LIFESTYLE cap. of the world pretty much.. and we had alot of friends who could help us with new ideas.. But we moves to BFE PA and theres nothing here... My Sir is into more of A Master role but as in the Mind not so much service... but all we do is seem to fight more and more every day... I don't know the bride at all and I'm not much more than a casual friend of the groom. I'm not part of his main circle of friends, I only know him because I used to work for his family. I was unfairly dismissed from the job and don't get along with his father, though my friend doesn't seem to know the details. I don't think it would be fair to play such an important role in the wedding as I think there will be an unpleasant atmosphere between me and my friend's family and I would rather not be put in that position. I don't want to hurt my friend's feelings by telling him I don't want to do it or about my disagreements with his father, but I need to get out of this situation. The wedding is going to be in St Lucia early next year but I want to decline now rather than accept and then let them down at the last minute.

I'm redoing my bedroom floor (I live in a Mobile Home)

Floating Floors were suggested.. >_>..
I have no idea what they are?
I have a few questions;

Are they safe/Durable
Do they move around when you walk? (Excuse my ignorance)
What types of floating floors are there?
How expensive will it be? (My room is 10x11 ft with a 8x3 ft closet)
Will they withstand heavy furniture? (Beds/Dressers/Desks)

And by the name floating, I get the impression that they are just sitting on the floor? (Ignorance, I know) Will you see the cracks, to the bottom of the floors by the wall.. ?

Ive heard alot of mixed messages.
From what I understand, eating red meat is one of the top 3 sources of global warming, but WHY?
I then read recently that the whole beef/global warming concept wouldnt actually do anything to help our earth!
Ive stopped eating beef, but Im still unsure if Im making a difference.
Can someone explain this to me?
