English is spoken predominantly in most of the provinces except for Quebec. French is the first language in Quebec. There are french language speakers in all of the provinces and territories. In the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavit and Iqualuit, the aborignal langues of the various tribes are also spoken.
