I would say this about Atheism

They only see what there is to see.
And believe what they are inclined to believe due to their own reason and common sense.
No doubt is acquired in Atheism the only way to make doubt in the heart of an Atheist is with solid logical and reproducible evidence.

No. People like me are convinced by evidence; regardless of what I believe, or, don't believe. Reason and common sense aside.

You seem to know a lot about what god would want. Rather supports the position that religion is man made.

For an omnipotent deity to make him/herself known to me would be very easy. My request might seem complicated, but for an omnipotent being it would be no problem

All they would have to do is apear in the sky all over the world simultaneously and speaking the language of every person. Then they would deliver their message to news cameras and finally turn the moon into cheese. Any omnipotent being could do so without a problem and then the problem of atheists would go away forever.

Edit: Well, if he wants faith but makes people incapable of faith (ie me) then he's condemning people to hell for no reason.

We of course realize that this is part of human nature. We try to avoid falling into those traps. Perhaps we don't always succeed.
