He is serving a life sentence for stabbing a young girl to death and will not likely get parolled for many years. He has served twelve years already. The crime was committed when he was 18 and now he is 30. She has two children from a previous marriage and wants to have another child with this convict. They both "claim" that they are Christians. They knew eachother from childhood. They went to the same church.

The son of an acquaintence of mine who at 18 slept with a 15 year old, and now he's having to register for the rest of his life as a sex offender. Is there not something wrong with that picture? my laptop is a tablet pc and I downloaded "My Font Tool for Tablet PC", where you write in all the letters, numbers, and symbols and then you safe it as a font in your Microsoft Word. Well after I filled everything out I tried hitting "Install this Font on This Computer" and a box popped up saying: The font file could not be installed. There may be a conflict with an existing font, or you may not have the proper permissions necessary to install a font on this computer. It is my computer so what should I do? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

For AP US History, we're doing a mock trial of the 1866 Supreme Court Case of Ex Parte Milligan. I'm supposed to be defending Milligan. Can anyone think of some defenses I could use?

So far, my biggest point I've been able to think of is whether he deserves due process or not (need to back this up) and whether he deserves a civilian trial versus a military one.

I've heard from the Catholics that Jesus will forgive you as long as you accept him to be your saviour. (I was brought up catholic so I know this to be a catholic fact so to speak). I realize President Truman made the final decision. However, my question is did Douglas MacArthur express views on the atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, beforehand or afterwards; privately or publicly.
