It means that the judge had previously issued a bench warrant for something you had done or failed to do related to a court case. Probably some sort of contempt of court. He then held the bench warrant rather than transfering it to have someone arrest you. Having it held is usually a good thing for you (compared to the alternative).

The hearing will be on what you did or failed to do related to the case you were in court for. You should make sure you show up tomorrow to avoid contempt or arrest.

First thing, get a criminal attorney. IF you cannot afford one, they will be appointed for you. First, with a bench warrant - that means that the judge issued a warrant without you there -- because you weren't there. If you are found for anything, you will be taken in immediately. But I think they generally get you before a judge pretty quickly. Likely, if you plead guilty on the two charges, they will drop the Failure to Appear charge. As to school, I would just quit now. Chances are, if you don't show up in two weeks -- they will come after you. Better to drop now (and hopefully get SOME money back) than to drop later. Use this as a step up -- Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Go to the police department, explain your situation and take what is coming to you. Then, make an effort to live a better life.

probably means that they are researching something .. a bit unusual that a judge asks you to return . you best return ... but bring with you some person that has a few hundred in cash for bail in JUST IN CASE. not sure of your possible arrest / what the charge would be . try to get it clearned up . only other option i see would be to send someone there on your behalf ... you could not be there ... or call and get an atty tonight

ehhhh.. i think you better be careful cause a bench warrant is very similar to an arrest warant which means they can arrest you on sight. and as for hearing on HOLD, it means there will be a continuance.
