I have a 6 month old baby girl,me and my boyfriend dont smoke.Both of our parents do,and with the hoilays coming they all want us to come to there house,but they smoke in there house.They say thata they will not smoke in the house while we are there ,but i'm still not comfortable taking my baby some one smokes in.Am i being to peronoid?

how do u tell the best friend that u had a one night fling with that ur pregnant with his kid? how do u tell ur parents and family? especially ur mother who beleived u when u said u didn't do anything with him. my best friend is a single father to a 14 year old we live 2 hours from each other. hardly see one another but we text and talk on the phone to each other like crazy. we both wanna be togeather but we are afraid to take that leap. i also have a daughter with another guy. this babys dad is her godfather. so its ver complicated.

We have 2 daughters and a son on the way. He seems very distant and more into his video games than being with, around, or spending any sort of time with his family. Does anyone else have problems like this? I love him he's a great man but we have a family and we need to be just that he seems to only be interested in making sure that he has all the happiness and who cares if anyone else is enjoying life!

Ok, birth parents want to place child up for adoption, however the birthmoms mother does not want this to happen and wants the baby to raise. However, the birth mom, does not want her to raise the baby and still wants to place child up for adoption. FYI --the grandmother just got out of prison 2 mts ago.. Can she prevent the adoption from taking place?

My best friend (we talk almost every day) is getting married next October - they recently got engaged and I know that I was one of top 3 people to get the call the next morning about their engagement. I'm a little irritated/upset/heartsick that she hasn't asked me to be a part of their wedding party. How can I ask her who is in her party?

Is she waiting to figure things out? I know her sister is her maid of honor but I thought at least I'd be part of her bridemaids since I've been one of her closest friend for over 5 years.

getting divorced from husband of 12 years, 2 children together, he had an on and off again mistress for 10 years, we've been separated for 2 years.
he and the mistress are more or less business partners now. she's a wanna be performing musician/record label owner, and he's her music producer. they finished her first album last year, which i call the "soundtrack to an affair", but are now underway on her second album. (why she isn't touring and actually selling the first album before blowing anymore money, i don't know).
the scenerio is this. their whole relationship is based on lies, obviously being that it was an affair and all. and their original plan was to shack up, go into biz together, and live happily ever after. well it didn't quite work that way initially, but is beginning to show signs of being back on. (she dated someone else for the past year)
being that in the music biz people get blacklisted and/or have no staying power, wouldn't showing off an affair destroy it all?

I was a passenger in a car with the driver and two other people inside 4 people in all and the driver was stopped for going through a red light.
The driver had a warrant and was arrested - the officer than said we could also join the driver and we were arrested for disorderly conduct - Do they make the laws up to meet there quotas.

For example, I know a school in Michigan set aside a prayer room for Muslims. Although, they also have a chapel set aside too. And CU-Boulder let Bill McCartney run his "Promise Keepers" (a fundamentalist Christian group) using university facilities for some time...

Personally I wouldn't approve of any of those expenditures, but I'm curious where the double-standard exists?

my second marriage broke up and she had a daughter. i had a lot of problems with her and her mother not accepting me fully into the kids life. they wanted me to because the kid had no father so i did but then if i tried to discipline the kid like my own 2, they would say i was too harsh (however i wasnt. i witnessed her and her mother lay into the kid and it was a lot worse than anything i would do). finally things broke down and we are divorcing. I know i've got two kids that i only have part time but i think if i'm with another woman seriously again, i'm going to stick to ones without kids. i know i have them but i don't have mine all the time and i'd be able to spend a lot of time with her and i am not looking for a mother. they already have one. think this is selfish of me? i just can't do it i don't think. I want the woman and i's relationship to be a priority first. if you're single without kids, what do you think? think i'm being unreasonable?

a few possible scenarios come to mind.
One is that Stacy is in hiding, possibly for killing her husband's 3rd wife.
Do you agree or disagree?

These are the points I am basing my speculation on:
#1) Sgt Peterson has an airtight alibi for the time that his ex wife was murdered. Have the police also gotten an alibi from Stacy? The former wife filed for an order of protection after she learned that her husband was seeing Stacy. However, SHE was charged with domestic abuse multiple times.

#2) Stacy's mother disappeared 8 years ago and has not come forward, even when her daughter's face is plastered all over the news. There is evidence that she is still alive.Her brother was coming out of prison for a sexual offense, before he got home, he was arrested again on a parole violation.
