getting divorced from husband of 12 years, 2 children together, he had an on and off again mistress for 10 years, we've been separated for 2 years.
he and the mistress are more or less business partners now. she's a wanna be performing musician/record label owner, and he's her music producer. they finished her first album last year, which i call the "soundtrack to an affair", but are now underway on her second album. (why she isn't touring and actually selling the first album before blowing anymore money, i don't know).
the scenerio is this. their whole relationship is based on lies, obviously being that it was an affair and all. and their original plan was to shack up, go into biz together, and live happily ever after. well it didn't quite work that way initially, but is beginning to show signs of being back on. (she dated someone else for the past year)
being that in the music biz people get blacklisted and/or have no staying power, wouldn't showing off an affair destroy it all?

Let it go. There is revenge in the world and you do not even have to participate. All things will be shown and known in it's own time. You will feel so much better if it all evolves on it's own and you had the wisdom all along but allowed others to come to the conclusion themselves. You will think more of yourself afterwards.

I don't think people in the music business really care one way or another if performers have affairs. I think its more about whether or not a performer can sell songs.
As far as you're concerned, you sound like you've already written him off emotionally. What you should be focused upon is (a) making sure you get enough alimony/child support in the settlement, and (b) how he is going to continue as a father to your children. Anything beyond that is irrelevant.

Please!
Three names for you:
Woody Allen, Bruce Springsteen, Brad Pitt
THERE'S the entertainment business for you.
However, the entertainment (and music) business is HEAVY with wannabes who never get much of anywhere, and who fizzle out very, very quickly..... no matter WHAT their personal life is about.
Do yourself a favor because this ain't the wild, wild west, it's no longer legal to shoot a woman for stealing your horse and riding off with another man, the good don't always win, and what goes around does NOT always come around........
Don't waste one more minute concerning yourself with what's going on with these two frogs........ spend every minute from now on concerning yourself with YOU and YOUR NEW LIFE FROM THIS DAY FORWARD.
Unless, of course, the woman makes it big..... in which case (if you live in a state that has alienation of affection on the books) you should sue her for every dime.
Otherwise, move on........ move way, way on...... because having these thoughts on your mind is weighing you down.
The best revenge is building a life for yourself that's happier and more fulfilling than hers.

And you care about all this because.......??????
If you are getting divorced and moving on, the first step is learning to stop caring about what your ex husband does and who he sleeps with. Your ONLY concern regarding your ex is what kind of a father he is being to your children. For your own well being, you need to let go.

I don't know, but it's obvious you are hoping so. Why worry about what the two of them are doing? Move on with your life and find somebody new who will be loyal. If karma is going to take care of them, it will do so in time.

I don't think anyone really cares if a singer/performer is having an affair.
Well, they care, but only because they like gossip it doesn't affect their sales.
