At times, I have felt that way. Yet, if I had never met them, I'd have no reason to dislike them in the first place as they would not exist in my perception of reality.
Such loathed people do serve as a valuable learning experience: never deal with anyone else similar to them in one's future endeavors.

Yes, I have, more than once. Not in male/female relationships, though, I'm happy to say.
The last one I so intensely disliked was a coworker on a mission to bring me to Jesus. I felt nothing the day I was told his aorta had burst while driving. No sorrow, no joy. Just glad I didn't have to see his 40kg Bible on his desk as I walked past from that day forward.
And no, I didn't attend his funeral. When asked, I replied "Just because he died doesn't mean he wasn't a jerk. Don't rush to canonize him just yet."

Yes, I work in a place that has two buildings. I had heard stories about this guy while working in the building #1. I thought he must be a real loser. But, when I went to work in building#2 where he works, his first impression surprised me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt trying not to judge him on what others had said. Big Mistake!

Yes. But I believed at the time that it taught me something very important even though I didn't want to go through any of what the person did in my life. Now I know what to discard the rest of my life.

There are several people in my husband's family that I would cross the street in order to avoid. I don't know so much that I regret meeting them, but life would be much simpler had I not!

Yes...but you have to let it go. We meet people for a reason..sometimes we get hurt...but the reason may be we learned something...every person has a reason..some our only for a season...do not hold in anger or have hate in your heart, move on and know you are wonderful and smile..people will always wonder why u r so happy!!! :)

yes, and I know he was there for a reason and I wouldn't be the person I am today, but I still wish I'd never met him. I guess it could have been worst.
