If I join the Navy Reserve as a HM. and I get activated after my C-school training in the FMF. Will I get activated again in the future whenever my deployement is done? Also how long would i be deployed?

Serious scientific study is going on to upload human memories and intelligence into a computer before death occurs. Since this is going on, it would mean that many scientists dont share the opinion that when you die your dead and everything you are goes with you. If this is correct, then science does believe you can live on after death forever. And in effect, would this not be a GHOST in the machine. would your spirit not be alive after death? after all it would be your intelligence and life merging with a machine.

Now I've got your attention: I've known this guy for around 3 years and have really liked him for ages. We have loads in common and get on really well. I always knew that it was unlikely anything would happen with him, as, up until recently he had a long term girlfriend (of almost 2 years), and I knew he would never be unfaithful, or want to hurt her or anything. 1 or 2 months back he broke up with her. He's 18, and I've just turned 16. We've always had this, strong bond I suppose. I'm the youngest within our "group", and I think he's always felt that he has to protect me, but I don't think he realizes how mature I am, in a way, and I don't know how to get him to see. We see each other a lot, and are slightly flirty. I know he cares a lot about me...but I don't know if it's as a friend or more. I have seen him checking me out several times before, but does this mean anything? At my birthday I was sitting on his lap, and holding hands and dancing and stuff. But he tends to be like that with most girls, and not because he’s a player, he’s just comfortable with them. I get the feeling he is more so with me though.

I have a HP Pavilion a6112n PC with these specs:
* Motherboard manufacturer's name: Asus M2N68-LA
* HP/Compaq name: Narra2-GL8E

and I was curious as to whether or not my motherboard can handle a Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC ATX 430W Power Supply 115/230 V, because I have heard that certain HP motherboards can only handle up to a 250W power supply.

Please, any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

we always used to SAY that actions are louder than words i think that we used to SAY that till we beilve ourselves but this itself prof that "WORDS are louder"

Alrighty, Im going to New York next week and Im im getting confused with all teh boroughs and neighbourhoods around the main city Centre ie. Mid-town, upper east side etc. So, what are the names of all the boroughs that would be cheaper to stay in around manhattan that will only take about 20 minutes to get to the city centre. And what about all teh islands or surrounding cities that wont be a trek to get to manhattan. We'll be doign all the typical tourist attractions so we need to be able to get to the the main part of manhattan.

Someone gave me a bare bones desktop with xp pre-loaded. The only problem is I had to buy a mouse and keyboard for it. It loads to a setup screen that I can't click on or use the keyboard for.

I have taken 3 hpt tests in the last week, and they are all positive. i took the first one on Sunday night and it was a very faint +, the second one yesterday afternoon and it was darker and then again last night with my husband and it was dark as well. My AF was due on 11/11 and the last time i had it was 10/13-10/18. I am not that late, so it would very early on in the preg. i see the doc on Friday, but has anyone ever had a false positive?

(0, -1) has slope -2

(0, 3) has slope 3/2

(-4, -5) has -8

(10, 6) has slope 4/3

...and the slope-intercept form that passes through these points...

Is it because your holy book says that your messiah died for your sins? Is it because it says that your god is the only real living god? Is it because you feel very deeply with steadfast conviction that your book is correct? Is it because you're absolutely sure that your god listens to you & intervenes in your life? Is it because you've been guaranteed everlasting peace in the afterlife if you believe?

If I ALSO have a holy book which tells me that my messiah died for me, that my god is the only real & living god, & if I also feel deeply with steadfast conviction that my book is correct, that my god listens & intervenes, & that I'll attain peace in the afterlife if I follow the wisdom of my god....

...then what makes you right & me wrong? Is it that your faith, i.e. your feelings & convictions, somehow trump mine? Is it that what you KNOW to be true is somehow definitely more true than what I KNOW to be true because you feel very very strongly that you know the truth?
