It may sound like a strange question but for years I have used the expression 'Oh My god', as its something I picked up from tv and music and everyday life, Its not even something I think about before saying, However one of my close friends who is a christian recently said that they found my use of it offensive, since this I have stopped saying it around them so not to hurt there feelings but it did get me wondering if its really that offensive anymore? I mean it has become so popular and widely used I would of thought most of the blasphemous nature it once had has pretty much gone and I didnt even consider it to be inappropriate.
What do you think?

I took my new rifle to the range today. Unfortunatley I was unable to zero it for 100 yards because the firing range is a small one. I ended up sighting it in to shoot 3 inches high at 50 yards. I may have to go to a better range before the deer rifle season starts on Saturday, but I am curious what you guys might know about my ammunition.

I am shooting a Federal 180 gr .300 WSM. If I am shooting 3 inches high at 50 yards where will my shots fall at 100 yards? I would appreciate a link if you find a bullet-drop chart. I have been unable to find one. What would be helpful is if someone found a chart showing my round zeroed at 50 yards, and how it will shoot at 100 yards..then I would only have to add the 3 inches.

my daughters Sierra(12) and Kasey(4) and Step daughter Elli(12) are being pushed too hard. they all cheer and tumble but i feel like my husband is pushing them too hard. they love it but my husbad helps with it and if they dont do something perfect he makes they keep doing it until they do even if its 4 hours after tumbling is over (which has happened. he can stay later because he works there) they love it but i feel like its too much.

It's hard to believe in 2007 this kinda thing still goes on in America. I just happen to notice this Racist Capitalistic Pig of a business having a very Racist sign in FULL view of everyone. I went to the City, they were NOT interested in my complaint so I went to the manager of the laundry mat and said: WTH ...why do you have such a RACIST sign up in your STORE (then he played dumb) and said WHAT RACIST SIGN..I said the one above the washing machines that says: WHITE ONLY...this is NOT 1950 in Selma Alabama...he LAUGHED in my FACE!!!!!!!!

What would you do to fight this???

but i also have diabetes and believe that stem cell reaserch is okay.
all of my friends say that i am not a true christian if i believe that and are really angry at me. how can i make them understand that thay dont understand what diabetes is like because they dont have it? and how can i tell them that it is okay?

I am installing a sliding gate and to keep the track level i need to build up one side of my existing driveway to ensure the track doesn't buckle when driven over. I am looking at using Bondcrete to build up enough cement and feather it approx. 200mm either side of the track. Can anyone comment on whether this is a viable solution, or will it just crack up from being driven over daily?

Hi, I'm a student in San Francisco who's planning on traveling home for the holidays and I have other expenses like food & rent, etc... Basically I'd like to find a gig or gigs that lets me earn a few hundred ($200 - $500) dollars between now and my departing date, the 20th of December. My husband and I are working on our marriage. I want him to promise he will stay and work things out no matter what. I want to leave the past in the past.
