The young lady admired the watch in the store window every
time she walked by it. She finally entered the shop one day
and said, "Just how much is that watch?"

"It's $2000, ma'am."

"Hmmm. Well, would you consider time payments for
it?"

"Just what sort of 'time schedule' did you
have in mind?"

"I was thinking two times a week for the next two months."

I am from the UK, and considering moving to New Orleans next year. I am a theatre and festival producer. Is there a decent arts/entertainment infrastructure in the city these days? Sure, things like Mardis Gras and the Jazz Festival continue, but are there year-round opportunities to work in things linke theatre. Or is there at least a latent audience that would be interested if I worked towards starting a new arts centre down there? Any advice or opinions are most appreciated! This was posted in another section but on advice I'm re-posting here. Cheerio!

Except for the 32 second sound bites and old out dated ideas they stand by. They do not see the potential and possibilities rather can only focus on the immediate negative. Will this be our downfall???

I am wanting to make my own audio books from my own book collection (because I find the availability of free audio books that interest me or people my age to be severely lacking) and perhaps to make a website of my collection. Not to sell them but for free download.

I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to do this... would this violate copyright laws; if they were distributed for free or even distributed at all?

I've heard of some websites who read "public domain" books (i.e. books published before 1923) but I really want to read out more recent books. Is there anyway I can do this legally or not?

Many thanks in advance.

I either have orange sherbet or vanilla in my car. Both are soothing and relaxing to me without being overly sweet.

why on earth did they move the Eurostar service out of Waterloo to St Pancras,it only made a time diffrence of 20 minutes shorter to get to Paris, yet the government spend £800 million revamping it. Southwest trains said that the platforms at Waterloo will not be used for 5 years, i see nothing stopping Southwest trains using those platforms now.

This government has no idea how to save money, instead they waste it,same goes for the 2012 olympics,a total waste of money which could of been better spent on Hospitals and schools.
that's my rant over, what's your thoughts.

Its unbelievable, firstly, prostitution is illegal in China. secondly, where are you going to find so many used condoms ? Not to mention that health officials said it was dangerous to health as the condoms could be contaminated. Any idiot with a little knowledge can tell you that in the process of melting down will kill any germs whatsoever. I am curious to know why and how the media could print such blatant lies to discredit a nation.

Thankyou for all your answers.
But I would like just a simple answer....
My mother has been diabetic ( injections) for more than 30 years and basically has the diet side undercontrol.
Now I have convinced her to eat more I feel we have more lee-way being "over" rather than under. As under means passing out.( At 86 and still living alone, not really ideal)
I would like her to be between 7 and 10 so she has more time to take some lucozade before going 'funny'.
What are the short term effects of going too far "over" 15/25 So I can tell her what symptoms to look out for.
Thanks again D.

Things like cellphone and computer can have circuit problems.
But air plane has lots more complicated circuits for sure.
If there's an error somewhere on a plane, how to detect an circuit error on a complicated electrical system?
Is there an unique error-detecting system working on a plane or something like that?

I'm doubting if it's possible to rule out every single problem on a plane, because things are too complicated out there on it. Well I guess there must be a lot of unsolvable technical problems on it...

Maybe a small problem won't cause an air crash but it's still professional to keep passengers lives, so how will they deal with it?

Doesn't Evolution already effectively ruled out the possibility of divine intervention?

Do these Christians really know the grievances of this theory which promote Science and undermine the EXISTENCE of a Creator who make and care for us?

I was playing my ps3 yesterday and had been for quite a while. I had been playing Call of Duty 4 for ages.

Then it started to make a weird noise. It sounded like an aeoroplane in the distance (thats the only way I can describe it) then the noise started to get louder, and louder. After about half an hour I decided to switch it off thinking maybe it was oerheated since I had been playign it for so long.

This morning I woke up and switched it back on but after half an hour it made the same noise (quietly again). I have switched it off again.

Does anyone know why this is? Is it just the fan?

They sell cottage cheese in the local convenience store, absolutely unprocessed, just chunk of it, covered with a paper and pressed to resemble a box. Some "boxes" are with raisins, and others are with vanilla. They are delicious, and I love them. What do you think it's better to do: to buy all vanillas and add raisins to it, or to buy all raisins, and add some vanilla? I love raisins, but vanilla cheeses smell better.

Do you think that relationships would be more easily created or would last longer if we would just confess the way we feel to the other person? Don't we make things a bit more complicated than they should be?
