Im going to a house party, but i don't know what to drink. Im a pretty inexperienced drinker, so i don't really know the names and stuff. i usually just get the same few drinks because i don't know what to order from the bartender, or i dont know how to make anything else.

What drinks should i make while im there and how. I don't want to be asking people how to do it and make myself look like a jackass.

I'm a guy by the way.

I'm trying to lose weight. I'm sedentary most of the day (behind a desk). But I decided to work out 40 min twice per day M-F, and once per day on weekeneds.

Does that seem resonable and do you think I'll lose weight?

(I'm following a great diet plan)

I'm talking about atheists in particular. Do you automatically make negative assumptions about us, such as moral character, behavior, and personality, when you find out that we are atheists? Or do you treat us like any other person?

In other words, would you be my friend in real life if I told you I was an atheist when we first met?

I want to start Bulger over Eli Manning this week.

Saints have a horrible secondary... But I know Bulger has been horrible this month.

What do you think?

E. Manning or Bulger?

I attended a small, quiet preschool.
My elementary school years were spent in the best school in the area; several amazing playgrounds, great teaching supplies, and state-of-the-art everything.
My middle school was also pretty good; several labs, plenty of space, etc.
After middle school, I attended a high school on the same campus. And though it's not amazingly great, it's pretty decent--best music program in the state, and a lot of highly intelligent students.

However, I hear people talk about the horrible schools they've heard about. But, I don't know anyone that's ever gone to a "bad" school. Maybe it's because I'm surrounded by only "priveledged" people.

But I'm wondering: Are there really many "bad" schools in the U.S.?

A friend just told me about this site, I thought it seemed cool. Here is the e-mail I got about it:

"A food-linked word game put on the Internet a month ago has proved a runaway success and has already generated enough rice to feed 50,000 people, the United Nations World Food Program said Friday.

FreeRice offers participants multiple-choice definitions to the meaning of a word, with each correct click generating 10 grains of rice for the WFP. The brainchild of American online fund-raising pioneer John Breen, the Web site FreeRice.com relies on advertising revenue to underwrite its rice campaign.

"The site is a viral marketing success story with more than 1 billion grains of rice donated in just one month to help tackle hunger worldwide," said Josette Sheeran, executive director of the Rome-based WFP. On October 7, the day it was launched, just 830 grains of rice were donated. But the Internet community quickly caught on, and on November 8 alone 77 million grains were donated!!
