this trainer at the gym and i have had a very rocky relationship in the past(i'm not his client)but he's a middle-eastern guy who seems to have a chip on his shoulder. It seems thatr he'll be cool with me for a few months than he'll hate my guts, and then he'll be cool and then hate my guts.Lately,i have been ignoring him and even when he tries to get closer to maybe have some sort of interaction,i just put my head down and proceed with my workout, ori'll give an occasional wave and then ignore him from there.Today when he was at one of the machies sitting down,i waved at him and he sarcastically gave me a wink and a wave.Something that i do sometimes but not sarcastically.Does he have a right to be mad at me?What should i do?just ignore?

Hi, i went to burger king, and opened my whooper, and saw a piece of mouse poop on my burger. I want to know what are the safety steps i need to be taking right now? Everyone says this is a lawsuit because of failed health inspection. Do i need to freeze it for evidence or just put it in the fridge till i get a lawyer? What do you think?

This is something I've always wondered about but never bothered asking. Say you go to a home/car audio store to look at amplifiers. You have 2 amps, both made by the same company, both almost the same model, both of the same quality parts -- the only difference is the price and the wattage.

What exactly makes higher wattage amplifiers cost more money than lower wattage amplifiers? Do they just price higher wattage amps higher to make more money off of enthusiasts or are there technical reasons behind this?

I don't know too terribly much about electronics, but something seems a little fishy here. As far as I know, wattage is just determined by how much power is outputted, which to me is almost directly related to the power input, which is just amplified by other circuitry.

It just doesn't make sense to me why this would constitute a higher price.

Anyone know about this sort of stuff?

I hope I categorized this question right. Electrical engineering is what I was really after

Any ideas? I'm doing a presentation for nutrition class on possible solutions or preventions to lower the obesity rate in our country. Here's what I thought of so far:

Require schools to have nutrition education in order to graduate (childhood obesity is a huge issue right now)

Ban junk food from schools (such as pizza, hamburgers, taco bell, etc) and have more salad bars with a variety of food to teach children how to make healthy choices.

Have more restaurants who offer smaller portion sizes (like TGI Friday's "right portion, right price")

Have more restaurants consult a Dietitian to help create a menu with healthy options.

Only 5% of Medical schools require their students to take a nutrition class and even then, its usually just a basic class. This is a problem because most people consult their doctors for nutrition advice when they aren't very qualified. I think all medical schools should require nutrition classes.

I need more ideas please. Thanks!

This is not me (I swear)...so my friend has been seeing a man who is recently separated but still wants to be with his wife. He and my friend have had an inimiate relationship and he continues to try to spend time with her. He texts her, calls her and asks her to dinner all the while he does the same things with his wife. I think she should kick his butt to the curb for being Shady O'Grady. What are your opinons?

At my current job, I perform critical tasks that can't be done by anyone else. For personal reasons, I want to move to another part of Michigan in the next 3-6 months. I felt bad about the idea of giving my employer only 2-week's notice, because I knew they wouldn't be able to replace me that quickly.

So I told my boss that I saw myself moving in the next several months. And I thought it would be prudent to start on a transition plan. My boss was impressed with my honesty and agreed with the wisdom of my idea.

Unfortunately, my boss's boss took it personally. Within days he hired 2 people to replace me (I do a lot of work!). And now I've learned he plans to fire me as soon as these 2 have an "acceptable" level of knowledge.

Is this legal? My performance reviews (ironically the last one was done by my boss's boss) have been glowingly positive. My productivity is better than anyone else's in the office. I put the interests of the company before my own.

What recourse do I have?

The NCAA is railing on this again. IS it fair that they have granted exceptions to the Seminoles, Utes and a couple others but not to the UND Fighting Sioux. It should be all or none. IMHO.. Also why not go after nicknames of other "races" ie,,, Irish, Spartans, Trojans all proud people.
or even Blue Devils, that could be offensive to either satan worshipers and/or christians??

okay so I know "how." lol. but the real question is should I? let me explain i'm 26, female. not much dating experience, ok basically none so i don't kno about about males. my best female friend and male friend tell me to just find a guy and do it cuz i'm making a big deal outta nothing. my male friend tell me most guys want a girl with experience and not a virgin and will not marry a virgin cuz they can't "test drive the car." it kinda makes sense to me....i'm not like an overly religious person but I think sex is for marriage or maybe i'm just afraid to sleep with someone who will leave me. now i'm confuse and depressed a lil b/c maybe i have wait to long and it will be hard to find a husband to take me seriously. thoughts? help me.

Joe and Moe debate the use of coupons by grocery stores. Joe says, "The use of coupons in grocery stores represents a means of price discrimination. It's pure and simple. Coupons are likely to reduce the price of groceries to people who are more price-sensitive than to those who are not." By contrast, Moe contends, "Coupons do not constitute price discrimination. They simply represent a way of temporarily changing the prices of some grocery items. Coupons reduce the price for everyone, not just for part of the market in which people's demands are more price-sensitive (price-elastic)." Do economists agree with Joe or with Moe?

A. Economists agree with Moe.

B. Economists agree with Joe.
