No, I usually give the silent treatment, if I am angry it is better that I not say anything at all until I have had a chance to reflect and calm down

There is nothing that irritates me more than for someone to give me the silent treatment!! They should have enough for themselves and for me to deal with it!!

Oh yes. They use all that energy being 'silent' and you don't have a clue why. It's such a waste of time. There's no way you can fix it.
Get on with your life and ignore it. Don't waste YOUR energy.

And the treatment for that is to ignore them...
When they decide to grow up and tell you what is wrong..
