Hi, i went to burger king, and opened my whooper, and saw a piece of mouse poop on my burger. I want to know what are the safety steps i need to be taking right now? Everyone says this is a lawsuit because of failed health inspection. Do i need to freeze it for evidence or just put it in the fridge till i get a lawyer? What do you think?

i dont know, i was trying to see if this was burnt seseme seed, but i called the restuarant, and the manager himself said that he knew of problems of rats getting into the buns, and that they were trying to get it resolved, and then he asked me if i wanted another burger, and that he knew that him offering me another burger sounded crazy. im dead serious, i am not tryin to catch a case here. the manager himself said this.

Well, even though I think that you should have done a lot of complaining there and then, I'm still thinking that you actually have a case. Or if not, settle out of court. Get then to pay you or something.

But honestly, people could get seriously ill eating mouse poop! I think no matter what you do, you should really, really sue Burger King. You know, call a lawyer ASAP, get down some pictures as evidence and keep the burger.

Also (this might be hard, but it'll certainly work), get down the name of that manager who told you that he knew about the rat-getting-into-bun case. He'll be a great help to your case if you actually manage to get him to help you. Or at least admit that he DID say that to you.

But in any case, there are only a few things for you to do:

1) Let it rest, and stop going to BK for a period of time.
Well, this might be one of the easiet thing to do. Needs no time nor money.

2) Complain to their headquarters.
Get them to compenstate you or something. I strongly recommend this. Then maybe BK will start paying more attention to their cleanliness.

3) Sue.
This will take time AND money. Even if you do have a case, if you don't have the two elements I've just told you about, I suggest you just write to their HQ.

But whatever you do, good luck to you! I seriously hope it works out fine for you!

Honestly, you're going to have a tough time suing Burger King, because the Lawyers for Burger King are going to declare that you may have planted the mouse feces at the privacy of your home.

Basically, it is your word against theirs.

The Manager of your local Burger King probably will not testify as your witness, because then the CEO of Burger King will immediately fire the Manager for testifying against the Company on your court case.

I agree, seems as though if there was mouse droppings on the hamburger it would have been eaten before it was discovered unless the burger had a once over before being eaten. If that's the case it also seems that a lot of yelling would have been done at the restaurant and not now.

Why did you look at your burger before you ate it?
But there was a incident like this about 5 years ago. there was poop in the taco bell meat. it didnt happen to me but it was all over the news. so do some research, see if anyone else found droppings in their stuff, if not its going to be hard to prove you didnt plant the droppings there! Good Luck.

You need to get a recorded statement from the manager that said this to prove it.

just throw it away and forget about making a million dollars at burger kings expense. How do you even know what mouse poop looks like? Have it analyzed at your expense and see if you have a case. I really don't think you do, why didn't you freak out there and show them? I find it hard to believe
