Will patriotism preserve in western societies dwelled by masses of immigrants?

Patriotism is what you might call an 'adaptive trait' for a nation. A nation of patriots looks out for it's own interests, and the interests of it's citizen and defends itself from enemies without and within. Such nations survive and prosper.
Lack of Patriotism is fatal to a nation. Without patriotism, citizens will put thier own interests before thier nation's or fellow citizens', turning traitor for bribes or inducements, exploiting eachother, plotting rebellion, or simply ignoring thier nation's call to arms when attacked.
Yes, it has always had value, and always will.
Patriotism can only survive in a nation experiencing mass immigration (such as illegal immigration to America or 'reverse colonization' in Europe), if the immigrants assimilate within a generation or so. Otherwise, they will form enclaves, and the nation will end up divided against itself.

No because conservatives debased the term. First by mistaking nationalism for patriotism, then by accusing anyone who didn't mindlessly agree with the Cheney war machine as unpatriotic.

Yes, if we are doing a good job to assimilate immigrants, but the left want to tie our hands behind our back to prevent us to do so.
