this trainer at the gym and i have had a very rocky relationship in the past(i'm not his client)but he's a middle-eastern guy who seems to have a chip on his shoulder. It seems thatr he'll be cool with me for a few months than he'll hate my guts, and then he'll be cool and then hate my guts.Lately,i have been ignoring him and even when he tries to get closer to maybe have some sort of interaction,i just put my head down and proceed with my workout, ori'll give an occasional wave and then ignore him from there.Today when he was at one of the machies sitting down,i waved at him and he sarcastically gave me a wink and a wave.Something that i do sometimes but not sarcastically.Does he have a right to be mad at me?What should i do?just ignore?

You just keep coming out with the same thing don't you, time after time after boring time. In this instance, why don't you just find another gym - there's enough of them in America isn't there ! ! !

Middle eastern culture quite different from American. Attitude and interaction with women also different from. He may unconsciously disapprove of your gym attire or your friendliness. He won't change.

You could change your gym time such that the said trainer is not around, if it bothers you that much. Else, realize that this is not your problem but his, acknowledge him and be civil to him and continue your workout.
