Why do you think people do this? We see it all of the time...Some people make it blatantly obvious, while others are caught contradicting themselves in the previous questions and answers that they have given. Why would someone find the need to lie over the internet? Do they not get attention in "the real world"? Do they think that we are all going to think that they're cool...and why would that matter? Any thoughts on this?

(And yes, I probably could have posted this elsewhere, but I frequent this section, so I want to hear from the people I "see" on here everyday.)

Do you think that if you were dating someone 5 years and you broke up with them and you claimed that you really loved the person you were with very much.....do you think that it's really truly possible to;

Meet someone on a cell phone through the internet on a text messaging service....text them for two month.....meet them only 3 weeks ago from today in person and say that you have moved on, over it, and happy with this new girl. Plus say that you love them already and are going to marry her soon and move her in with you? This meaning that you could get over your ex you supposedly loved even though you say you don't now in just knowing someone personally for 3 weeks????

I attended a job fair where the unit director (a large hospital) asked me to apply and allow her to look over my application. It wasn't actually an interview, we just got to talking at the job fair and she said she would be interested in having me. I have applied but have not heard back from her. It has been 4 days. Is it okay to call her? How long should I wait, and what should I say? I've never had to follow up with any job in the past, and this is new to me. Thank you all in advance.

some people seem to have pets just for protection or whatever. i travel in the country areas a lot and see many hungry cats and tied up dogs in the summer and winter. pets are like people and have many of the same needs. they just want to be loved and they love us no matter what

My mother named me with untypical spelling. Instead of the normal spelling kelsey, its kelsea. With this spelling i have many people calling me kel-see-uh and not kel-see. Many acquaintances when first seeing my name written laugh, as most think its ridiculous, but my mother doesnt. Should i change the spelling, keep the name, or just change my name altogether?

When a company decides to sell shares,how do they keep makeing money of them after they have sold them.(eg If l sell 1million for a dollar each,then l get one million dollars,but how do they keep makeing money),And how do the shares go up,(if l buy a share for $1.30 how does it go up to say $1.35 why do you pay more for it.?

Now that I'm working two jobs, reading and study getting ready to goback to class soon I have really lost out on a lot of sleep and I work an extra job....not necessarly for the money but to keep my time occupied and .... some extra cash to save for the future, but anyways most days I'm lacking on hours of rest.........and mabye I'm thinking this is the cause of my headaches...but I don't believe in asprin or any kind of drug related medicine? Is there any other peaceful solutions?

Am I the only person that thinks this pathetic,worthless, punk deserves serious prison time?

He was drinking and driving and speeding and crashed his car(this loser shouldn't even be in a car) causing another person to be on life support in a coma.

Another bad part is that he and his lawyers are blaming the victim for this.
I hate losers that drink and drive and I hate people that have no regard for anyone but them selves.
I hope he gets prison and is severely beaten until he is in a coma.
I dont think just prison is good enough for people like him.
So am I the only one that agrees?

After trying the work force (ive been working since i was 16) and trying college (4 years and 70k later i am now getting my Associates Degree) i am unsure what to do. my uncle is an army recruiter and is telling me that if i enlist i can get 65k taken off my debt, get a steady paycheck, have very little in the way of bills, and get bonuses depending on what i do. i scored a 95 percentile on the practice entrance test and will pass the physical...but im still not sure what to do. HELP???

I am very concerned about this kind of behavior! Yeah, they do weird pranks, they are guys, but who would even think to steal a pig head, drive around with it in your car for a week in your softball cooler, just waiting for a chance to put it on your friend's car, so it can rot in the heat....

I am about to put an apple sticker on my car. Like the ones that come with the ipods and stuff. I had been meaning to do this for over a year and never got around to it. I know the whole application proccess I own my own vinyl business i dont need to hear any of that and yes I know how to take it off of course I own chemicals to do that. But my only question is should I put it:
1) At the bottom right hand corner of the rear window.
2) On the back most passenger side window at the bottom
3) On the pack most drivers side window at the bottom.

My car is white so it would be stupid to put it on my car.

This is my first child and I will be giving birth 500 miles away from my or my husbands family. Both of our parents are divorced and not on good terms. I don't want this to be a stressful time and I feel like if my Dad or In-Laws are there it will only stress me out, and make me feel less loved. Not only is this about their grandchild, but it's also about me. I've never done this before, I'm scared, and I don't want people bumbarding me. I also want my alone time with my baby and my husband. I have only invited my mother and sister, and of course my husband will be there. I'm just not sure how to let everyone else know that I would rather them wait a few weeks to come and see the baby.

Ok so my girl owns a home that has a commercial area and her parents were approached by a Realtor to sell their home and property to the person the Realtor was representing. Does the Realtor make a commission from my girl selling the home? They did not contract the Realtor, the Realtor approached them with a potential buyer.
