A. The Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is literally true. The story tells how the earth was formed, how life began, and how evil entered into creation. The narrative is only helpful to human beings if we interpret the biblical creation story as the history of interactions between God and humans in the past.

B. The Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is a metaphor. It teaches that each of us has been given a paradise that we spoiled when we gave into temptation. The narrative is only helpful if we can identify with Adam and Eve in our present lives, and their historic existence is ultimately immaterial.

So similar to the story of Marduk giving the code to Hammurabi king of Babylon? Except the story of Hammurabi is several hundred years older and we have cuneform tablets of this that still exist?

Just last night gunshots went off by my house a block away they never happpen on this side of town. Im so scred to go outside everyhtings graffiti and gangs everywhere robberies murders the food is all poisoned, our toys. Mexicans are everywhhere illegally if somebody doesnt do something we're all gonna die before Global Warming even reaches us. I was in a bus accident the day after my birthday and im scared to even go on the highway i do its just i panic if a car gets off the ramp if theeeir gnna stop. Im scared to sleep at night that im gonna gt shot thru my window or someonmes gonna come in and kidnap or rape me. What happened to America WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE UNITED not against eachother What are we gonna do.? Wha tdo you think? Bout all of this and me?

i just turn 20 and my girl friend is 19 we been dating for 9 month. when we started to go out she told me that she was a virgin, after the second month i found out that she is not a virgin and she told me she's been with one person one time when she was 15, after we been togater for 9 month i just found out that she is been with 4 other guys. she is been with a guy that she only knew for a month and a guy she knew for 4 month and another guy that she knew for 2 month and another who she dated for a while. she is a realy nice girl that says she is deeply in love with me and she keeps on crying and tells me to trust her. The thing that pisses me off the most is that she says that she never enjoyed it, but she keep on missing around(each guy that she is been with wasnt more than 3 times). im in love with her, but i dont know if i can trust her? i love her but every time i look at her i think of everything she has done in the past and it makes me crayz. what should i do??

Nauseous means you're sickening, doesn't it? Isn't feeling the urge to throw up properly, "I'm feeling nauseated"? How did the wrong word become the popularly misused one? "I'm nauseous" means you're making ME want to throw up doesn't it? Did I miss the English class about 'nausea'?

BEFORE you leave?? or is it a power thing on why he/she may choose not to tell you until they're already there?

I really don't have a problem with my hubby fishing, he loves it. I'm glad he can relax with buddies and what not. But what bugs me is that he'll go...after being gone for an hour or longer (where I'll wonder if he's okay, working late,etc) THEN he'll call eventually and say 'oh babe, I'm fishing or I'm 'going' fishing (when he's ALREADY there).

Why doesn't he call me at work or even leave a message on my voicemail before I get off work to let me know he's going so that I, myself can go ahead and make plans to do something else? I've told him how I've felt about this. I've actually turn down offers to hang out thinking we'd be home together that night. He knows it hurts me, so what's the big deal in calling beforehand?
He did it tonight. Gone fishing around 4pm and JUST left a message at 7:18pm - literally saying, I'm 'going' fishing. WTF?!
I feel it's disrespectful.

I just got done playing the psp chains of olympus demo and it was amazing. I was worried about how they would work in the controls but they have done well (dodge rolling takes some getting used to but its nothing big). The graphics were amazing and nearly on par with any ps2 game, this is also the first game where the chains around kratos's arms are raised and not simply flat. The PS3 version is going to of the wall. What does everyone else think about the demo? Also, I have an original psp and the square button feels weird when i press it (almost like a keyboard key with something under it). I have heard about this before but im not sure, any opinions? Thanks.
