Yes LeeLee, it can be because of lack of sleep. A good night sleep is very essential for proper functioning of the body during the day time because it will relax your body and mind and enables you to perform your task more effectively during day time. I think that you should quit your second job as you do not need it. So that you can get enough time to have a good sleep about 6 to 8 hr sleep is must. It can also be because of any emotional stress or because of any worry. So try to relax yourself. The best ways to cure headache is to take a balanced diet & healthy physical activity that are valuable in reducing all type of health problems.

Quit job #2 if you're going back to school. Quit it anyway so you can get some sleep. Sleep is definitely a cause of bad headaches. So you don't want to take any western medicine to help your headaches, how about eastern? There are licensed herbalists who can prescribe effective herbs and teas that will fix you up in a flash. Or, you could visit a licensed acupunture specialist, who can put you out of your pain very quickly. Maybe a massage or a hand massage would help.
I've suffered from headaches all my life, with lots of migraines and tension and cluster, etc. I take a preventative now and have far fewer headaches. But the only thing I can tell you that I've learned helps headaches in a non-medicinal way is caffiene. At least a cup of coffee.
You've tapped my ideas, so I'm off to take an ibuprofen before bed for this headache I've gotten from too bright monitor and too dark room. I think I'll take a couple of sleeping pills, too. Good night!

Hi Lee Lee, certainly sleep deprivation is a leading cause of headaches so you need to do what you can to get proper rest......it's one of the major pillars of health.
Another problem could be hydration, how much water do you drink? You might consider 1/2 your body weight in fluid ounces per day to see if this gets rid of the headaches.
Of course, as another person posted, would be worth you going in and getting your eyes tested to see if the headaches are caused by eye strain.
You could also be lacking in some type of nutrition, I would recommend you should be taking a quality daily supplement and although there are many good supplements the one I have had the most success with is called Limu Plus, many people who have suffered headaches for years claim that in a short time their headaches are a thing of the past.

There is a huge range of causes for a persistent headache, from mild (like stress) to very serious (like early MS). A headache that persists this long really needs proper diagnosis, starting with a full ENT work up and a CAT scan. One cause might be sinus-related problems, such as a cyst in the sinus; but that's just one of many possibilities. Your doctor would need to take up a full history, including where the pain is, the nature of it, how intense the pain is, whether it varies with position/time etc. If your doctor is not offering this, go find a new doctor!

Yes.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases like RA, Back ache, earache etc. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
These useless drugs have enormous power to create hazardous side effects like liver/kidney failure, ulcer, acidity and lot others.
Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you if cough is not there.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.
Pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds!

either you're having chronic migraine or eyesight problems. Have your eyes checked. If there's nothing wrong, you need rest. Take a break.
