Is it by agreement with the artist when I buy it? Or do I automatically buy the copyright of that work when I buy a painting? It is English law I am interested in.

I am 22 yrs old and I have a 3 yr old daughter. I live with my boyfriend at his mothers house (he is the father of my child). I have been looking for an apartment or house for us to move in for a few months now and I finally found one. It's right down the street from his moms house and all his friends are still around, but now he's saying he doesn't want to move because he currently doesn't have a job. I told him we might have to struggle at first, but we need to live on our own... I mean, we have a family now. He said he doesn't want to have to struggle and he doesn't want to live on a budget, but I feel we need to be more responsible. It's not that I want to struggle... no way! who wants to do that? I just think it's the right thing to do. we need to start from somewhere and learn on our own. no one is going to be there to guide us all our life. am I right? he insist that I'm trying to move too fast and I'm not thinking. I have a job and I do make enough to pay everything on my own

I have two checking accounts with different banks. I understand that I can transfer money from Bank A to Bank B by writing a check to myself from Bank A and depositing it into Bank B.

The question I have is, can I have that check from Bank A sent to Bank B via "Bill Pay" and expect Bank B to deposit it for me? I would address the check to myself yet have it sent to the Bank B address.

This would be nice if it worked (yeah, I know I'm lazy); however, I can think of a few reasons why Bank B wouldn't be willing or able to deposit the check for me.

Anyone know for certain whether this is possible?

...with the advances in CGI and effects over the last ten years or so since Stallone's Dredd movie, do you not think it is time a second 'proper' JD film was put into production. You put down a security deposit for an apartment and when you lease is up, the apartment decides whether or not to give to you based on the condition of your apartment. Well, turns out they need to do carpet cleaning and they want to pay for the carpet cleaning. Isn't that what the security deposit is for? How can I deal w/ this?

When I look back, I feel regret after regret. Regret about going to the wrong school, regret about being friends with the wrong people. I feel that I have not maximised and made the most out of the opportunity available. I feel that I have missed out on good things in life as well as in the world.

How does one deal with such a feeling???

When I think about the times when I didn't realise my full potential and as a result I under-performed and I under achieved, those memories are the hardest to deal with. These include times in my academic and professional career, personal life, in regards to health and fitness, in regards to relationships, sex and love etc.


Sorry if I am repeating this. I would like to get maximum feedback.

My 16 yr old has to get all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed. I imagine she will be put out for it, as they are all still above the gum-line and haven't broken through. I was wondering how long the procedure took. I know it probably depends on how much work they have to do extracting them. Are we talking 1 hour? 2 hours? Anybody who has any idea? Thanks in advance!

My wife asked if I could make a better effort to wiping down the table after dinner and with cleaning out the sink. I agreed and made the request that she stop using the sink as a garbage bowl when she cooks.

The thing is she took offense to my request, which I thought was reasonable. I find it very disgusting to pile up egg shells, meat packaging and misc pieces of vegatables in the sink which will have to be removed by hand.

I just looked at her thinking "Wow she is acting like a spoiled brat."

So do you think she was right to act the was she did?
