So many choices...and so many styles (the early, middle and later years).

But one stands out: "A Hard Day's Night".

Why?

I still get chills when I hear the opening chord strum on both John and Georges' Rickenbacker guitars (see link for song facts).

I quit listening to the Beatle and the Rolling Stones. I am disappointed in myself for having listened to the AND ALSO for letting them influence my life ( ie smoking pot ect)! The Beatles and the Stone are very very selfish people and I refuse to listen to either of them. When the Beatle or Stones come on the radio - I CHANGE THE station!!!
I have heard every Beatle song at least several thousand times each ( no kidding) - AND I AM ASHAMED at not having listened more to all the other great musicians out there - like Hank Williams and CHuck Berry. I thought myself so free minded because thats what the press told I was doing by listening to selfish hippies - Now I have FINALLY discovered how close minded the beatles and the j media made me.

I suggest that everyone stop listening to the Beatles and the Stones and give other great human being the chance to enter our lives for the better - Th BEatles have already had their fair share of our time. our lives and our minds!!

Well, as un-punk rock as it is, I like a good many Beatles songs. My favorite would have to be Revolution. And then there's I am the Walrus, simply for its "WTF?" value.
